This thread contains pictures of German SS Officers tattooed by Christian Warlich . I think we are all sensible enough thats there's no need to address the Nazi equation , after all if I didn't mention it ,its not apparent . Anyway thanks to kind permission by Bill Loika heres a rare glimpse of some great old pics.

When looking around a lot of artist's websites you see all these amazing works with bright vibrant colours a blacks that are precise and very dark. However, in most cases it looks like the tattoo is pretty fresh, in some cases indeed it may have just been finished before the pic was taken. So what I'm wondering is if anyone has any comparison shots of how these great tattoos end up looking a little while down the line. I know a lot will be down to the skill of the artist and so on, but I am assuming that even with the best there must be some natural fading/degradation of the finish as new skin grows over and inks change? Any example would be brilliant.:)

Hey All, I have a tattoo of a bull on my upper arm that is about 13 yrs. old, but holding up quite well. The lines are still nice and clean but it is a bit faded. I was thinking about filling up the rest of my upper arm (shoulder to shirt line) with storm clouds, swirls, stars and 3 other zodiac symbols BUT using the existing bull as sort of the central element. I am hoping to get some opinions on whether or not it is a good idea to use this older tattoo as a central element. Thanks!
