So I finally got my zombie horse tattoo done! Pretty stoked about it! Took 4 and a half hours..now I have a question. I got it done Thursday, and it hasn't started to peel at all, is that weird? It's stabbed up but shows no attempts to peel. Both of my other tattoos started peeling by day 3. Next session will be 7 hours, going to add another zombie creature to the inside of my calf and start a little background! Not sure on what zombie creature it will be,was thinking maybe a bucking longhorn..that or even maybe the headless horseman! Plus, I'll be putting canis lupus on my wrist too during that session just to knock it out of the way since it won't take long! It'll be on the 17th! Next session after that is on October 1st! Then mid October I'll be with a Bob Tyrrell to get my Raven done on my rib cage!

Hey there, I'm Ashley! I'm 19, from MI and work with a ton of exotic animals! I May have a slight obsession with tattoos! Ha! I'm new to the tattoo world. Got my first one in the beginning of June. It's a wolf paw with a black/silver wolf with the night sky and a moon inside! I needed another..so I got another! I started a black and grey half sleeve of a snarling wolf stepping over another wolves' skull! My next appointment is in the beginning of August to do the background to finish the half sleeve! Now, I already set up another appointment in the end of August for another! Not sure what to do yet, either something my artist drew up, a snake and dagger, or an undead horse. Well, I don't mean to toot my horn, but I'm suppose to be getting a Raven tattoo by Bob Tyrell in September as well..fantastic, huh?!

So i just had my appointment with my tattoo artist last night, handed over some of my references. I Will be starting my sleeve January 14th 2011. The theme of the sleeve is going to be life and death. The style of it is going to be a traditional style with an extremely modern twist. So far we have in mind is a two lady heads, one living, the other dead, with a script saying "death comes quick, seek your fortune." And also a skull turning into a heart. I've already sent him tons of references, but if you guys have any cool pictures of skulls (Nick Chaboya, Bob Tyrrell kinda stuff) lady heads, daggers, hearts and whatever you think would be a cool addition to my sleeve that would be really helpful. I will update my progress in this thread as well, its a pretty big deal for me because this will be in an exposed area. thINK Tattoo This is the artist who will be working on my sleeve, if any of you are interested in thinking a look.

whatup all, this place looks solid. i'm not very good @ introductions because i don't really like to talk about myself. but i suppose the relevant facts are that i'm new here, living in northern cali, and a tattoo geek. i've collected about 80 hours of work so far, with pieces from the likes of tim kern, bob tyrrell, erin chance, seth wood, gunnar, jesse smith, josh duffy, and joshua carlton. and, umm, i don't plan to stop anytime soon. :) i look fwd to both learning and contributing on here. peas, j (edit: oops, didn't see the intro section. mods, feel free to move.)
