    @mmmsarah where people run into problems at LST is when they beat a dead horse - post or create in 3 or 4 different threads looking for some sort of validation of their tattoo or tattoo idea - no one is bullied or picked on here - but you'll get honesty - and if you're desperate to get honesty in 3 or 4 different threads about the same damn thing - then thats what you'll get - yeah obviously traditional styles win the day here - but thats also because they tend to make the most solid looking tattoos

    well nothing to do really but wait until it heals then you'll know what you're dealing with i definetly think you have some blowout going on not the end of the world but it might be a factor to consider as you decide where this piece is headed once it heals

    man i dont know about tattoo commnunity but i do like LST for many reasons primarily i find that in 'real life' discussions about tattoos tend to be awkward at best and generally result in people asking just horrible questions 'how much', 'what does it mean' - ugh

    so you're looking to get tattooed and the main criteria you're concerned with is that it should have poor readability uh - i call that style 'bad tattoo'

    @ligatortat don't fan the flames man if you dont like it here - take your advice and go otherwise - chill and move on there is plenty of good stuff to check out imo the interview section alone is worth the visit

    @ligatortat i like the tattoo - i'd say no on the text for many reasons but primarily because to go to a size that would be sufficient to add to this piece would leave the text overshadowing the image - a big no-no imo and for gods sake - if you forgo this advice and do get text - please not upside down (so its for you) i think if you have the itch for more ink - get another tattoo

    @ligatortat post up that new tattoo as for the text - man i just hate the idea of small text just remember those lines thicken and you amy end up super bummed especially since you are new to tattoos and this is on your wrist anyway - do what you gotta do - but bigger is better and to me - image beats words anyday when it comes to tattoos i have some words on me but i'm just saying

    @ligatortat i thought you were going with the atom symbol idea? i actually like those designs you posted in another thread as for micro text - this guy does them almost exclusively it seems http://instagram.com/jonboytattoo i myself hate the trend - if it can be called that

    @ligatortat same difference - i mean - go find a tattooer and ask how small they will go since that appears to be what you want - you'll find someone that will give you a super small 'font' tattoo - and then after sometime you wont be able to tell what the hell it says - but hey - go for it

    just the idea of such a question tells me your already thinking too small though there are plenty of people that seek out microscript tattoos and plenty of people that get them i cant stand them actually when on a cruise this summer i saw more than my fair share of micromess be careful what you wish you for

    @AddisonHawke so hard to tell cost man - best thing to do is find the right artist first - then you can get into those discussions at that point 16 huh - damn - to think I waited till I was in my late 30s lol good luck and if you need referrals tell us your general whereabouts

    @Sinclair89 jacksonville has inksmith and rogers which is pretty well regarded around here hey but there is also a shop right in universal - hart and huntington - they might even have an "inkmaster" standing by for ya

    no worries @polliwog I had a great time with you guys - enjoyed comparing tattoos, listening to stories, and having some beers - I wish I didnt have that long drive home I woulda liked to have a few more with you guys - till next time enjoy montreal!

    traveled to Boston and back today to get this toad from Todd Noble - also had beers with @polliwog and @BrianH - pleasure to meet you both thanks for stopping by for that LST meetup
