    not in my opinion - I always like to get a good workout in prior as I know I will be inactive for a few days after - IMO it relaxes me as well - I cant see the downside though maybe I'm missing something...

    octopus tattoos are awesome i'd recommend getting the classic staple of tattoo art the octopus and the peanut butter

    i only have a small piece (2hrs?) on the belly but yeah it was an easier sit imo after ribs its all been easy imo :)

    i'm generally a fan of most types of tattoo - i even like what most would consider a 'bad' tattoo that said - i agree with the others here in that today - with social media being what it is you should be able to get a good feel for what to expect from an artist just the premise of beginning such a thread tells me the OP is not confident of the skill of the artist self reflection on this might indicate a need for the OP to 'keep looking' hopefully the OP has already realised this

    crocs are a great image for a tattoo but i would say forget the date worries just get the tattoo and go with a traditional design / artist to capture your rememberance of your friend just my 2 cents hope you dig your new tattoo whatever you decide

    i'd love to see it keep going - i think when you enter your tattoo - it shouldnt be to win really but more a celebration of the good times we are all having with getting tattooed

    lol my 13 yr old dtr taught me how to "screenshot" my DM pic that Sheila Marcello sent me after she did this cool amazing Pharaohs Horses piece - even though I have a few pics of this posted already in the lowdown - please allow me to give you the best of the bunch :)

    just read this whole thread this shop is on my list for the fall leaning towards an appointment with dan or eli but honestly probably would like to get tattooed by any and all of the smith st artists in the future was recently getting tattooed @ electric during a traditional flash weekend event and was right next to bert (and robert ryan) while getting tattooed by sheila marcello which was pretty cool

    great thread as you might guess i'm thinking about knees my only concerns are that i tend to bang mine up a bit falling off shit like bikes and longboards bodysurfing my knees take a beating so i wonder if i will regret getting some nice art on them only to get nicked, scratched, scarred its not that this will actually deter me from the knees but the wear and tear factor was something i was thinking about

    i'm guessing it might have been an issue on the application end but who knows i would say leave that tattoo be even if it doesnt heal good or you end up with some scarring its still a cool piece with alot of meaning i'm guessing and if you feel also that the end result had to do with the application of the tattoo then as a consumer use that info in selecting who is gonna do future art on your skin just my 2 cents btw i dig the tattoo though
