Just got this piece done on my elbow with a bit of detail on the front , started thinking about turning it into a sleeve, with more tribal on my lower arm, just black, I really like the idea of roses coming out the top of it, again black but with a tiny bit of darkish red to fill out my upper arm ? Any recommendations ?

I'm pretty new to tattoos, I was wondering what actually makes a bad tattoo ? Is it the poor quality of the actual tattoo or what you actually tattoo, the design etc ? Hope that makes sense
