Stomach wasn't bad. Chad has a really even hand and made it as painless as a stomach tattoo can be. We have a little left to go, but after a few hours we had to tap out.

Thanks a lot Iwar- I really appreciate it. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to retire each image after one print run; I really like the idea of limited shirts, and since I'm not out to make a profit (we're a few sales away from breaking even!) I think I want to reinvest all the shirt income into more shirts. The hardest part is getting the artwork, but I think Jacob Des did a great job. I figure one shirt a quarter will be good, artwork depending.

Italian and I rarely do well together, due to my tomato allergy. There are a lot of AMAZING tomatoless options in Italian Cuisine, but I fetishize a goddam lasagne like you can't imagine.

I think about this all the time; someone shows you a really jacked up tattoo and waits, beaming for your praise. For the most part, I used to say "nice one" or something noncommittal, but I've increasingly had less of a poker face and have been getting called on not liking their tattoo. When they ask what's wrong... I've been telling them. Is not letting a friend know he/she is wearing garbage (on a technical level, not an ideological level) tantamount to encouraging them to get more crap work? Or should I just be polite? Thoughts?

I've had mixed experiences as the Richmond show, but no experience with the new folks running it. More than anything I just need a dang vacation, and Richmond means boiled peanuts and old friends. So if the show sucks... I'll go see a movie :D

Wow. The new episode (Corbin 3) is great stuff. I had called this arc of the tattoo age series a 'love letter to tattooing' and this episode just really gets you. Aaaaand.... it's not the last Corbin episode. There'll be one more according to Chris. Fuck yeah.
