Thanks for the input. I agree i will need to consult a local artist for the cover up. I would like some concept suggestions on my design though. The shield is too clean and shiny. I want something more rough. Colors for the incorporated symbol arent great. I would also like to expand around as ti e goes by. Hi all! I am 45 and have 2 tattoos since I turned 40. It is probably a little strange that i did not get one in my eary 20's while in the NAVY. I almost did a couple of times but thankful was not so impaired that i did not notice how shady the places we went to over seas.. Unfortunately i did make a mistake with my second tat choice and have hated it ever since! It is a Dallas Cowboy star (stop laughing! :-) ). So there are a few questions i would like to ask. Since there is a 10 post minimum here are the questions that i do need help with. 1. Can i cover it with another tat? 2. If yes to 1, would i be able to cover a small potion with white ink since it is blue? 3. More expensive to tat over a tat? 4. Can i ask for design help here if i already know the basic design? Basic design is combining the catain america shield with the NAVY operations specialist symbol. I have a concept but want to put a little more personal touches to it and i am stuck. Thanks all!
