That Bert Grimm 'Duel in the sun' backpiece from earlier is very cool - love the double eagles and 'rising sun' motif.
I like the Valerie Vargas back piece attached a lot. I think she could do an amazing take on the 'rock of ages'....?
Another piece that has always stood out to me is this back piece by Shige (also attached). In his book it mentions that it is a tribute to the vanishing tradition of falconry in Japan. There's something very 'airy' about it.

I guess I should post mine here, since I've enjoyed this thread so much:
By Jill "Horiyuki" Bonny, State of Grace, San Jose, CA. You can also see my Scott Sylvia cobra on my right elbow (with my itsty-bitsy Ben Grillo spider under it), and my left arm, the upper part of which was done by Eddy Deutsche back at 222 and the lower 2/3rd of which was done by Horitomo, also at State of Grace.

the only skull I have on me is by Mike Lucena and is below.
Gotta say I love skulls by Rudy, Hooper (who has that whole book of skulls), Jondix, Jensen, Garver, the usual suspects.... Both Stewart and Valerie over at Frith St have pretty radical day of the dead skulls on their website. Surely there's people I'm forgetting right now though.

Sorry for the heavy posting in this thread lately. I'll give it a rest after this.
Finally finished. Only had an iPhone as a camera, so excuse the mediocre quality.
(for some reason I'm unable to upload pictures to my gallery at the moment...)

guy comes in a few years back, part of a construction crew. smelled like weed and beer first thing in the morning. the tattoos on his face let me know he was serious when he asked for a " hood spongebob". best ever.

I don't have a decent picture of the tattoo, but here's the watercolor (By Rick Lohm of HALO in Syracuse, who also did the tattoo) that spawned it.
Story-
Once the big owl trend really started hitting hard, I decided it was time for the noble Turkey to be the next "It" tattoo bird. Eagles, Owls, Swallows.... they've all had their turn. So every time Rick would post a tattoo of an eagle on his facebook, I'd comment that it didn't really look like a turkey and that he should try harder. Habitually harassing him until he finally painted this to shut me up- A portrait of me as the devil Turkey.
The milk was because Rick likes milk- we didn't even get the "cry over spilt milk" thing until after he tattooed it on me.
The turkey has yet to get it's turn, but it's coming.

Ms. RAD is also known as Ms. UNBELIEVABLY NICE. Jake is a very cool guy, too (which is good, as I hate it when assholes have great tattoos I'm jealous of). And of course Scott and Dari are awesome, but Scott would be much awesomer if he would embrace his inner steampunk.

The only big spots left on my front/torso are both ribs, a little bit under the belly button, and fill. Stoked!
