As long as Kev brought up Rock of Ages tattoo in Austin, I like Jay Chastain's back pieces over there too.

I second that. both sides are so fucking rad

All rad tattoos Lochlan. I could be wrong but I think that Snodgrass tattoo is a Cthulhu. That Mike Wilson piece reminds me of the one below by Scott.

by definition, industry means "the aggregate of work, scholarship, and ancillary activity in a particular field, often named after its principal subject" which in this context would be quite an accurate meaning. I can see why you would dislike the term "industry" (for most people it has connotations of corporate manufacturing which makes most of us cringe when thinking of tattooing) but to me it's no biggie like "gun" for instance

Lochlan put the link on the words Luke Wessman in his post above. Or just click HERE you can also use the search box in the upper right corner of the screen to search "Luke Wessman" or any other tattooer you want to see posts about

I'd be stick and poking a black heart on myself right now if that was legit.

Do you like Color? or Black and Grey?
Jake replied to Paulywhore's topic in Tattoo Designs, Books and Flash
depends on what's appropriate for the piece, where it is in relation to other tattoos, and WHO's tattooing it. case by case basis for sure. love em both in good context -
Who do you think deserves some recognition?

that backpiece is fucking killer! I with it was a better photo so I could really dork out on it but I still spent a good chunk of time just staring -
I had the best healing experience I've ever had with my last session so I figured it was worth sharing. It still looks just as good as my tattoos that healed using my previous regimen, but it only took like 4-5 days until the tattoo was completely flaked, healed, and looking like how most tattoos do weeks later. It also barely flaked at all- the lightest smoothest flaking possible. Thanks to Freddy Corbin for the tip... So rad. Leave the bandage/wrap on overnight. Apply a hot compress to the fresh tattoo after you pull the bandage (transfers heat better than the shower) Then take a hot shower to rinse everything off (cleans the surface better than a hot compress) Aquaphor as needed over the next few days.
