My name is Andri but people used to call me Mahenk, and I was born an artist in Bandung, Indonesia. I have been around art my entire life, and making a great living off of it has never been a question for me. I've been working in Graphic Design and Illustration since 2002. Tattooing took over my life in 2009 and I've devoted much time and love honing my craft. I have over six years of tattooing experience and I specialize in Geometric, Surrealism and Dotwork. What I enjoy more than anything is illustrating through my tattoos, expanding the medium and pushing the boundaries of what is considered tattoo art. One of my dreams was to open my own shop and two years ago that’s exactly what I did. It was hard not knowing if it would be a success opening a tattoo shop in a small town, but I liked it that way. I feel it makes an artist push themselves harder to get themselves out there, and really establish their names as artists. I am blessed to have talented artists working with me to uphold our reputation of which we have worked very hard for. Until then I will be tattooing, painting, drawing, ridding my dirtbike and raising a family. Afterall, I wouldn’t be doing what I do without the two biggest inspirations in my life, Family and Friends.
