I think, speaking as an apprentice Tattoo Artist that a lot of people in my position and my age view tribal as a negative word. There seems to be a stigma towards tattooing tribal due to the lack of understanding about it i think. If people took the time to research the origins of the designs and the reasoning behind certain tribal tattooing then I think there would be a greater respect for it.
