In no particular order this weekend - taking my boat out for a day of sun and fun on Lake Winnipesaukee, going to a Steely Dan concert, going for a ride on my Harley, hiking with the sheep dogs, making zucchini, carrot, parsnip burgers, drinking iced Stoli, watching my tattoo heal, coming up with ideas for a sleeve on my left arm.

Ok, so my sleeve is almost done... I sat with Mat Clarke of Midnight Moon Tattoo last Friday for about 4 hours...whatcha think??

Here are some photos from my sittings at Midnight Moon. I just sat for the 3rd time last Tuesday. Mat and I decided to increase the size of the sleeve to 3/4 to add more water and large lotus flower. The lotus flowers represent my three daughters, my wife, and the final one, my mother.

I wrote as much in the upcoming tattoos thread, but thought it'd make sense to report that I had a consultation yesterday with Horitoshi 1 here. Stoked to get work from a master!

The pagans would mark themselves so that the newly dead would not recognize them. The Jews were not supposed to do this because it was a pagan practice. I guess if someone is following every other command in the bible, there is no reason not to follow this. Most Christians just follow the commands they want and then justify why they don't have to follow the others.

I get what you're saying- thanks - FWIW, when the skin is healed I wear SPF 30 under my T-shirts on the ink. The mesh isn't see through and the shirts aren't white cotton. To that end, I have an awesome farmer's tan...dark face, hands, and legs...my torso is a lot lighter:cool:
