    Mate, if you like Kirk Jones (don't blame you, I think he is class) you should do everything you can to get a tattoo from him. No one has a style like him. I know it's shit to hear but he really has his own thing going on.

    Yeah I feel guilty for liking them! Same way that I feel guilty for liking a dodgy pop song!! Basically I have a spot on my arm where one would fit nicely.. Something else in the same shape would be cool...

    Hey buddy. You are the guy whose worried that your lighthouse looks like a penis aren't you?! Was it your first tattoo? For me, I'm waiting to get visable tattoos until I know for sure I'm happy to do so. I also think the quality of your lighthouse isn't that great. Sorry! I don't think the colours look good... Anyway, placement for me is very important. Some artists are better than others and when they get it right, a simple tattoo can look the bees knees!

    I wouldn't say he uses fine lines... I would say Someone like Kirk jones or Oliver Macintosh use fine lines....

    On a slight side note, I've just seen on Instagram that Matthew Houston is moving back to London... This is sensational news as he is another favourite of mine. Can I say he's a favourite or will other artists get offended?!:)

    I actually think that colour looks better on very pale skin. All black tattoos look way to harsh on my opinion! I can't say I've noticed the "criminal" aspect either! If anything, people in my area seem more accepting of black tattoos than they do colour...

    Yes I am am also pretty tanned, Especially in the summer months. I also think that black tattoos look great against darker skin. Thick outlines and heavy black are difinitely in fashion at the moment. I also really like Todd Tattooer...http://instagram.com/todd_tattooer

    Hi guys... Interested to know your thoughts on traditional tattoos that are just black? People like Sway and Joe Ellis do some great traditional work that is just black. Also Oliver Macintosh but his stuff is more detailed and less bold. Still great though. I prefere black tattoos than colour. Unusual I suppose in the traditional world.. Would love to es your black tattoos...

    Hi guys. I'm booked in with Andrea Giulimondi in August to start on my left arm. I intend to start at the top and work down. I don't know whether to start with a lady head up top or one of the wicked scenery tattoos he does. For inspiration I thought it would be cool to find out what all you guys have on the top of your arm/outer shoulder area. Post some pics if you like. Cheers

    Sorry! A tad insensitive of me maybe. I get told I look a fool on a regular basis but forget that others get offended. Some research suggests he's quite successful so I'm pretty sure he wouldn't care about my comment anyway! Models tend to have pretty thick skin.. Sorry I offended you though Marley Mission

    I think about this a lot too. I'm booked I. To get my first " proper tattoo" in August with Andrea Giulimondi at the family business. I'm going to discuss future tattoos with him on the day and just take it from there! I am also guilty of overthinking. I just really like tattoos to flow nicely though. Even traditional ones.

    Funnily enough the two tattoos I have are on my bicep and collar bone! Neither of which I found that painful... Maybe it's because I have nothing to compare them to. They were both done in the same sitting. Anyway, this is on my inside bicep. Wish I had gone black and grey as I have since decided that I want all black and grey work! Oh well!
