Post awesome things you have been doing recently
idyllsend replied to irezumi's topic in Random Crap
I'm getting married May 21st next year (and you bet my dress will be showing off my back piece!). I'm also moving into an amazing apartment in The Beach area of Toronto come September 1st. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Pictures from my second and third sittings. My tattooist thinks we'll have it done in 7. Thank dog. The itchiness is killing me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just over 10 years ago I made friends with this guy from Australia. We met in the emo (lol) chatroom on Soulseek. He moved to Toronto March 9th (a decision that had nothing to do with me) and we met up for the first time the weekend after that. As of April 4th we've been in a relationship. I've never been happier and more sure of anything in my life. Life truly is amazing at times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
In this thread, we commiserate about healing our fresh tattoos.
idyllsend replied to Pugilist's topic in Tattoo After Care
Healing an entire back is no joke. Being itchy from your shoulders to your arse is likely to make anyone go crazy. My coworkers can see how uncomfortable I am, so they volunteer their nails and scratch my back without my consent, which causes me to run away yelling "fresh tattoo, fresh tattoo!" Hello friends. It's been a while since I've posted, as it had been a while since I've been tattooed. That ended today with the first sit on my back piece. Overall, I'd say it wasn't as awful as I expected, but certain areas were downright painful. Notably the bum. Next sit isn't for 9 weeks, so I've got time to mentally prepare myself for more pain. A healed, and much better photo of my peony I got a couple weeks back. Much simpler than what's been posted. Done by Glennie at the Pearl Harbor Gift Shop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I went the same route as @Mark Bee and had some 'pasties' added to my Sailor Jerry mermaid. I do kinda wish I'd been brave enough to go bare, though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just had a big blow up with my dad's wife Friday night. At first he was on my side, but now he's on hers. He also suggested I have anger issues. On the plus side though, I no longer have to be cordial or pretend to like her anymore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When I went I got the 7 day unlimited metrocard. I googled and it's $30 now. The subway is definitely tricky as @Pugilist says, but convenient...and I'm sure there's an app for getting around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had no idea about cat hair. I'd never be able to avoid it completely anyway. My biggest problem with my cats is trying to keep them from licking fresh tattoos on my legs after I shower. The little buggers love it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Currently trying to talk my cousin out of a tattoo party. But them 20-somethings think they know their shit, so I'll probably end up posting the disasters her party-goers get in this thread. Sigh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I did a memorial tattoo for the women in my family who've passed from cancer. It is each of their birth month flowers. Turned out beautifully! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I totally get this. I'm starting my back piece April '15 and it'll be covering 3 old tattoos. The two oldest, from '99 and '00, are terrible. Ive already had laser to lighten them and will be happy when they're no longer visible. The other, done in '07, I'm a little sad to part with. Stylistically, it's nothing special, it just holds a little nostalgic value. But, at the end of the day, if we want kick-ass back pieces, sacrifices are to be made. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I recognized that Ron Wells piece straight away. Definitely remember loving that when it was posted on IG. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Plainskins say the darndest things...
idyllsend replied to TrixieFaux's topic in General Tattoo Discussion
I was asked yesterday who designs mine. It was an effort to not reply in a 'the hell kind of stupid question is that' tone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Literary tattos: Shakespeare partial sleeve, plus
idyllsend replied to donbcivil's topic in Tattoo Advice
I agree with @misterJ. I dig the first idea, but I think it'd work better as a full sleeve. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Hmmm, maybe this will restore it? Just a little? www.news10.net/story/life/people/2014/07/11/video-of-man-rescuing-baby-deers-shared-on-facebook/12512363/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Between PUAs and MRAs you have a lot to be ashamed about! I kid, I kid. Despite the craziness of both groups, I am confident, somewhere out there, decent men are still frolicking about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This woman speaks the truth. Also, stop getting dating advice from PUAs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Trophy Tattoo (Hamilton, ont) is having their grand opening on the 21st and will be doing walk-ins all day. Super happy to have excellent tattooers more accessible to me, and so I'm going to celebrate by heading on down there to get a blue bird and love letter hopefully by Handsome Mike.
