That was an enjoyable, well-written, read. Knowing how painful a backpiece session can be even after a good night's sleep and a big meal, I can only imagine what yours was like. And the end product... wow!

If they are equally tempting just pick one and move on. If you know that you're getting all of them eventually then it doesn't really matter.

Stockholm Ink Bash, 28-30 August 2015
ThatGuy replied to ThatGuy's topic in LST Get Togethers & Tattoo Conventions
Thanks for the tip. I'm actually just across the bridge for another few months so I might check that out. Oh, and cool video... Gives off such a chill vibe... -
Still a good few months until Stockholm Ink Bash, but is anyone here planning on going? Maybe someone has been to past ones? If so, how were they? So many questions! Anyway, now that I live in Sweden I'm looking to check out some local events and only just found out about the Bash. I'm guessing it's the biggest convention in the country?

Cool video. -
No advice really, but they look fantastic so far. Beautiful.

Badass wolf. Could definitely see myself getting something similar.

For some reason I'm having a hard time imaging tattoos on my inner biceps. I know I'll get both covered eventually, but I just can't visualise how they would look. After some quick googling, it seems that lettering is a popular choice (which definitely isn't something for me). Anyway, I'm rambling... Just show me your inner biceps please.

Your overall look as a tattooed person
ThatGuy replied to keepcalm's topic in General Tattoo Discussion
I'm definitely still going for a fairly balanced look. Will most likely stick to traditional for all my tattoos, and similar size/placement on both sides of my body. Have only got one tattoo on my leg at the moment, and having booked in my next one, trying to decide if I should fit it on the same leg as the tattoo that I have, or start on my other one. Decisions. -
Top-notch tattoo artists based in Sweden?
ThatGuy replied to ThatGuy's topic in General Tattoo Discussion
Solid - I like it. Will definitely look into them closer. Thanks bud. -
Very cool. I was thinking about ideas of alternatives to the traditional heart, but couldn't think of any that seemed fitting.

This is on my list of tattoos to get. Would love to see some of your "mom" tattoos. Come on folks!

Wasn't aware of that convention, but should be living up in Stockholm by then so that would be perfect. I'm not particularly knowledgable when it comes to tattooers so I'll have to do some research. Thanks for the tip. - - - Updated - - - Thanks. I'll have a look at those. Will stick to fairly traditional work though. -

Yeah, Peter is one of the guys I'd love to get tattooed by. So good. -

Looks like he mostly does Japanese (which I'm not that into), but definitely solid. And Malmö is actually where I'm living at the moment so that's a bonus. Thanks for the tip. -
Thanks. I agree... The facial expressions are the perfect mix between happy and vicious.

I have recently moved back to Sweden after 7 years in England. Will most definitely keep going back to get tattoos by Valerie Vargas in London, but am looking for some good artists here as well. The ones I have found that I like so far are Peter Lagergren (Malmö Classic) and Joel Soos (Evil Eye). Other than those two, I have no idea. So, who's awesome here in Sweden?
-
So I finally got my chest piece. So happy with how it came out. By Valerie Vargas of course.

Have you had your back done? If so, how do they compare pain-wise?

Thinking along these lines. Perhaps not Pharaoh's Horses, but a big one on my chest and another one on my belly at a later stage.

Looking good. See, I kinda want to go this big, but will probably keep it smaller. Decisions, decisions.
