    Awesome panther, @Rob I . Jebb sure knows how to zap. Also, as far as the sideways pictures, they can be rotated in preview on Macs, or photobucket. Not sure about Windows software.

    I have never had someone listen to my advice on tattoos, at least apart from LST. It's frustrating, especially when my little sister gets a giant shitty tattoo on her forearm then tells me that I have ulterior motives when giving her advice.

    This has probably been said, but there are tons of traditional tattooists who pack way too much black into their tattoos. Not that I wouldn't still get tattoos from them.

    Eight hours on the ribs definitely sounds like a game for the tough. I could only sit through an hour on my stomach, but that was from Ron Wells, and apparently he's notoriously heavy on the needle.

    I am gearing up to move into Oakland or SF in the coming weeks. And I have started a zine project. Also, looking for a new job/jobs. Big life moves for me, but nothing extraordinary.

    I thought we agreed not to talk about the tattoo process... Anyway, I've been tattooed by both, and the rotary hurt a little less, but I was only reminded of that when I read this thread. It really shouldn't be an issue for healing.

    This is strictly second hand knowledge, but I have heard from good tattooers that it is not the thinning of the blood that makes drunk patients so hard to deal with, it's the drunkenness. I mean, there are plenty of party tats going on at very reputable shops, but those are usually filler tattoos. I am by no means a tattooer, but I did stay at a tattoo shop once.
