  1. Great write-up, @Tesseracts . Thanks for posting.
  2. Hi, and welcome to LST. We have a section just for tattoo designs. Tattoo Designs, Books and Flash | General Tattoo Forum | Last Sparrow Tattoo
  3. A Santa Muerte. It's not finished yet, though. Going back in a week or so.
  4. @Sean Sinha That's a cool tattoo! I think I saw you in Clubhouse last Sunday. I was about to get tattooed by Carolyn. The one with the black sweatshirt and side part.
  5. I have pretty much just thrown tattoos in spots so far. The only places I feel will really need placement planning are my backpiece and possible "coherent left arm tattoo" as @HaydenRose put it.
  6. I can't say too much about the peel, but I only wash my tattoos once a day when healing. Never had any problems. I think over-moisturizing is a bigger pothole in tattoo aftercare.
  7. @semele My grandpa owned a litho shop when he lived in the states, and then my aunt took it over for a while. Now, she only does design. Kinda bummed that the actual printing isn't being done anymore. I really liked going to the shop as a kid. Those are great prints that you've made. I especially like the ocean ones.
  8. That's rad gypsy, @chrisnoluck ! Always liked Timmy's tattoos.
  9. I've been meeting LST people. Meeting new people in general, as well. Also, there's a barbecue tomorrow at an old friend's dad's place while he's in town. And, my aunt is in town, and we went to First Friday in Oakland tonight. It was neat. She got some cool prints from one of the artists. Kind of wish I had gotten one, but it's every month, so I can wait. Since she's been in town, I've also been spending a lot more time with my little cousins at my other aunt's house. They're so fun and very intelligent. Glad to be seeing more of them for sure.
  10. By the way, there's a short write up I did on the event on the blog in my signature.
  11. I'm sure Remis could fix it for you. It's what tattoo artists do.
  12. @Stewart Robson Thanks for the pics! Damn, I wish I could find a way down to LA. Too many obligations at home.
  13. It was great seeing everyone at the show tonight! It was an amazing show, as well, for those who are still thinking of going.
  14. @peterpoose laser should be reserved for kitchen pieces and the like.
  15. Maybe find a pictorial reference book for art terms if you plan on getting really into it all.
  16. Sounds like such a great show, from the videos. Have fun, everyone!
  17. Just read through your last thread, and I am getting the sense that this might turn into another one of those. You went to a great tattooer, if indeed you did go to Tim. If he wasn't able to help you, and the twenty people in your last thread weren't able to help, with all the advice, and good advice at that, that was given, I'm really not seeing any hope here. I saw in your last thread that you said you don't know art. If that's the case, why are you changing a tattoo artist's art choices, and challenging his opinion? Do you see the incongruity there? If you read up on some other threads, this happens a lot, and LST generally knows how to deal with it. You'll see that the people who listen are happier. Don't take my word for it, though. Seriously, just read on your own.
  18. Sorry for the double welcome posts up there. I was being a jackass and not paying attention to where I was posting. As for getting tattooed while traveling, I got tattooed all three days while in New York, and it was hellish. If I did it over again, I'd get tattooed once, towards the end of the trip. The humidity is what really got to me, since I am used to healing in a rather tepid climate. I don't regret any of the tattoos or anything; I just could have made it much more comfortable on myself.
  19. Great tattoos! Welcome to LST!
  20. If he doesn't respond in a few weeks, just call Great Lakes. They probably have a book for him. Might want to call Blackheart if that doesn't work.
  21. Welcome to LST! Glad to have you. I'd get tattooed by Bailey Hunter Robinson again if I went to NYC. Coolest dude, and a great tattooer.
  22. This is almost as bad as the Affliction ad I just saw on the bottom of this page.
