All normal. I would usually not use Aquaphor as I find it too heavy for healing tattoos, but I know of some people who use it. Also, refer to the sticky in this section.

I don't mean to be a nazi or anything, but can we please stop using the term heavy-handed to refer to how painful it is to get tattooed by someone? Heavy-handed is a term used for a particularly stupid person and has been around for a really long time. How about we just say "it hurt really bad because I was wearing pants?"

I dig the brokeback girl and Grime pieces. I don't even skate, but they are still very well done.

Well, seeing as I would probably be a horrible boyfriend at this stage in my life, I think tattoos are the least of my worries.

First day of healing. No itch or pain or anything. Can't find a camera, and I lost my phone, though.

Why don't you wait until it's healed up and live with it for a while? It might grow on you.

Yet another tattoo from @cltattooing next Wednesday. Snake on the back of my thigh. Third snake tattoo for me. Probably last snake tattoo as well. She's going to get really tired of my tagging her in these posts all the time.

I just got news last night that Henry is retiring in a few weeks, so I went in today to see if he wanted to do a ship on my arm. Talked to Rob at the Broadway shop, and he called Henry. Turns out he doesn't have time to tattoo because he's packing everything up at the tattoo shop. But! Henry will be doing guest spots at One Shot Tattoo on Irving, and they plan on announcing these when the time comes. Either way, we are retiring a true legend who will be missed greatly. Hopefully he still hangs out at the shop, so us youngsters can hear some stories.

A coworker showed off his tattoo today. Some shitty crab and moon tattoo. I guess he saw my tattoo on my shin and thought it was cool to show his. I really don't ever relate to people with tattoos in the areas that I frequent, because everyone is so small town. It's okay, though. I relate in other ways, and that's fine with me. That doesn't mean that I don't think about escaping this suburb every day.

Looks like tickets are still available for Om, so I just might try to get to the show after getting tattooed by @cltattooing . If not, I'm always down to go to SF and hang out. Will also PM you.

About to take Luna out on a walk. We slept in until 1:30 today. She always gets really upset when I start a new job. I'll be gone for like 9 hours, and she won't eat when my mom or sister feeds her, or she'll throw up. :( Glad I have the day off today.
