I was just told about this show last Saturday, then logging on LST and seeing this.... I only had time to watch the first two episodes, but I'm in love with it. Will keep me busy for a while.

As I have yet started my backpeice but coming close to it, I would suggest asking your artist what you should wear before you start the session. That way there is no second guessing on how they would like to work on that area. Second, maybe take a hair clipper to the area that way a quicker and easier for all. Unless you have had practice.

Do you use a ice house or man up and go against the elements? When I was a kid I had started trying to get into fishing, but as the only one in my family doing it, didn't last long. I think I got a summer outa it when I was 7 or so.

Yeah, its been a while since I posted this. My leg is all good now, but at the time I wasn't even trying to get prescription meds, I wanted OTC stuff. And I drink to much to be taken aspirin everyday.

Or if we start preparing now for next year, and listen to ICP everyday all day long, then we should be in the right mindset when going into the gathers. Hell then we wont care what were doing.

I don't know which is better "yey!" or "woop woop"... Woop woop it's got lasting power and strength to it but if you've seen black guys in the bay yeying it's like music.

"Do I have any more obnoxious spaces to put a tattoo above this line... I'll just get another one on my face." or "I would look so hardcore in a halter top."

Hello Ernesto, Welcome to the forums, and enjoy your stay. How long was the wait for Jondix?

Choosing for me is a mixture of magazines and research on the Internet. Finding names of artists I don't know in magazines and then scouring the web for them. None of them have tattooed me yet, but eh a guy can dream cant he. And Johnny; getting a tattoo doesn't change your life in a blink of an eye. Getting your first tattoo, or starting a new tattoo, needle touches your skin for the first time... my first though is always "well to late now, forward is the only way for me" and when its finished all you can say (other then admiration of the artists work) is fuck thats in me thats cool. Its like going from a child to an adult, but you choose when, you choose how your going to be... Going from non-tattooed to tattooed wont let you into a secret club, no secret handshake, no secret set of rules, or headquarter complete with hierarchy.... Its just a tattoo, so what are you waiting for... If you want one go get one. Just know that most of us have crappy tattoos and we have good tattoos. We learned what makes good tattoos, you don't have to be like that. Four hours away is nothing to get a good tattoo... Look at Iwar, from Norway to SF... RoryQ and Duffa coming here to Japan... 4 Hours, even with a hotel thats maybe an extra hundred bucks, unless you like staying at a five star place. Take your time though, when you ready, you ready.

Those are both bad-ass. Everything made with so much passion. You sir are truly one lucky man, and I'm waiting for the grime piece to heal so we can all take a peak at that.

Anybody Got A Good Explaination For This Question?
CaptCanada replied to MGblues's topic in Crazy Tattoo Stories
That is one good thing about working in a bar. When someone comes in and has tattoos in a visible place I'll polity look at them while they talk to other people or watch tv... Sometimes start talking to them about tattoos, asking who did them and what not. If its a slow day Ill take a few tattoo magazines or books that I have back behind the bar and bull shit for a little bit. But most of the time I'll just look unless they seem like they are cool with talking with strangers. -
@Duffa That's the strange thing about Japan, they don't think of the naked body how we do in the west. Yeah, it could be a bit strange from time to time but over all I don't think they think much of it. Seen tons of photos of people getting tattooed on their upper backs, but still completely naked. Example: Talking to one of my female friends about Japanese High School (separate boys and girls schools) and she was saying on very hot days they just take their skirts and shirts off and walk around in their underwear. I was like holy shit I wanna go to that school. Another one is my tattooer came to the bar I work at, met a girl and she said she works in porn. When I went to his studio later that week we started talking about her and it ended up searching in google. Now Im sitting there in my underwear (squid slacks) looking at porn. Didn't pay to much attention to it cause I didn't want it to get any weirder then it was two grown men, one in underwear, watching porn. It's just a culture thing.

Chico tattoo shops?
CaptCanada replied to Tight-Lines's topic in Tattoo Shop Openings and/or Guest Spots
I'm from about 40 something miles south (Yuba City), and although I wasn't really into tattoos while I lived there.... I can't see any good tattoos coming from that area. Maybe @Joe Shit will prove me wrong though. [edit]But what are you doing up there in Chico, scoring some great dank or some shrooms everyday for a few weeks? -

I'm great at drunk dialing, I'll call anybody fucked up. Before I started playing a game to see how long it took before they asked if I'm drunk. My mom was my favorite person to play with. So could I be king of that. -
Man Iwar all these teasers are killing me, hurry up and heal I wanna see. Sounds likes great trip, getting tattooed by some awsome tattooers, and living the California life for a bit.
