200 drawings in one week with other duties seems abut extream.I'm no tattooer but I'd rather see 20 tattooable drawings then 200 rush jobs.

Just remember this if you would like a photo quality tattoo, just stop and go to kinkos and have them print it out. It will look good for years to come hanging on your wall but very hard to do that in your skin. Taditional and Japanese will improve with age when done by the right hands.

My only plan for 2012 is to continue and hopefully finish my backpeice and get something on my foot by uncle allan in February. For right now that's it, but if someone of interest does a guest spot here in Japan I could be getting something else.

Ohh, rockelman you reminded me of something that I would have wished I forgot. When I was younger my friends and I were driving by my high school (30 minutes away from my house) and I got out to talk to some friends in a different car. My friends being who they are... decided to speed off with out me (both cars) I ran after the one I knew I could catch. Hopped on top of it stayed for a few seconds and then fell off. Car was going about 30 mph and I quickly tucked into as much of a ball as I could. Landed on my shoulder then head. Got a concussion and blacked out for a minute or so. When to a friends house got a bag of ice and Ibuprofen... then home and went to sleep. all was good after I woke up except for a killer head ache.

To be honest, the foot isn't really a traditional Japanese spot to tattoo. You could get many different images done their though, sea creatures, small animals, masks... are you wanting a background with it or just a "one point" japanese tattoo? Small world @RoryQ if you trained for that long why did you give it up? Do you Shihan Larry? That is who I am studying under. Meh, my pelvis is more annoying then anything else. Its swollen where they Iliac crest would be on your back. Doesn't hamper my movement or daily life, just if I hit it. @kylegrey I also agree with what you are saying. I am still training weekly but taking it easy. When I would normally be forced to do ukeme or hit the ground we stop, before I injure myself further.

I've recently started to train in bujinkan, and for the most part it all goes smoothly cause we don't rush though moves. That being said, I could have what could be a broken pelvis from hitting the ground and not rolling correctly. Been swollen for the past few weeks, should get it x rayed but what will they say "just lay off that side for a while."

1) With my main tattooer talking with him with what what would work withen the rules of traditional Japanese tattoos. But my arms and chest panels are all his choice. Okay, I asked my Japanese wife what she though about a swastika and her reaction was "temple"... as in a Buddhist Temple. After I showed her the painting Jinxproof has and she said kiss (rock band). I then asked her if she had any connection between the swastika and Nazi's, nope. Could just be that she is ignorant of the past 80 years or that in the east the hooked cross stands for something different.

From my thinking, maybe it would be good, people that know the old meaning of the swastika can enlighten anyone that asks them about it. Also what I know about the Nazi swastika is that its rotated at a 45 degree angle. But great looking tattoo none the less. Tack one more on the side for Kevin. A tattooers job is to inform a customer if their tattoo will inhibit their life after the tattoo is done. According to Kevin that was done, who cares if the girl was on something or not, tons of tattoos are done that way. Within our own community that know of Mr. Campbell we care, but outside of us no one will look at the artist that did the tattoo, just the finished product. It may become an infamous forehead tattoo like many from this site mug shots - Ugliest Tattoos - Funny Tattoos Who cares, not your body and not your tattoo. People will always have some form of bad feelings towards tattoos and I say let them if they feel the need. If a stupid person gets a stupid tattoo judge that person alone, not by the whole.

When this started I was thinking that this city looks strangely familiar, then It finally clicked that some of those skyscrapers are here.... cool video. Fun fact if you guys don't know this already, tokyo tower is nothing really special, they have tons of mini towers that look the same all over Japan. Just a broadcast tower for radio and tv.... but now that everything is going digital they have made Sky Tree, and that is something special, the largest tower in the world. Total size 634m (2,080 ft) to the tip of the tower.
