Looking great. I love the expression on the face.

Second of my pair of Amund Dietzel inspired dragons.
Tattooed by Jordan at Frith Street, yesterday.
Now thats a nice story. I've seen this one before.
Great to see this tattoo fixed especially after hearing the story behind it.
The original tattoo is a mess. But even good a good tattoo dosn't always capture the smile. Scott has absolutlely nailed it.
Finally test fired my BSA Mk2 Martini Henry 577-450. The rifle was manufactured by the Birmingham Small Arms & Metals Company in 1887. That makes it 126 years old.
Some of the cartouche marks on the wood suggest it may of been part of the haul of arms discovered by the guy who owns IMA (Family Guns on National Geographic).
Commercial ammunition for this rifle ceased in the 1960s, although some does surface occasionally. So the only option is to reload.
The brass cases are available from a couple of specialist manufacturers. The ones I use are reformed 24 gauge Magtech brass shotshell brass.
Originally the cartridges would have been loaded with blackpowder and a paper patched bullet. However I have opted to use a nitro powder called Trailboss. I have also paper patched the bullets in the traditional manner.
Anyway to cut a long story short here is me test firing the rifle. Sandbagged and fired remotely. I was so pumped up afterwards I just had to fire a couple of rounds with me behind it.

These rifles last saw action during the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. United States Marines discovered at least three Martini Henry rifles from Taliban arms caches in 2011.
@Our Endless Days It's not very pleasant.
Probably because it goes right across the area near your kidneys. Even a soft touch with the hand and there is a natural tendency to pull away and flinch.
Towards the end I was feeling a burning sensation.
When we were all done Emiliano, one of the other tattooers at Frith St, cracked open a bottle of JD Honey and we all had a slug. That was pretty cool

Amund Dietzel dragon. Tattooed by Jordan Teear, Frith Street Tattoo, yesterday.
My rickety old back held up. Got this from the very talented Jordan Teear at Frith Street yesterday. He got an amazing amount of work done in three hours. All done without a break. To say I'm thrilled with it is an understatement.
Amund Dietzel dragon
@jayessebee @hogg Thanks guys just got to be a bit careful tomorrow and I should be ok.
@Dan S as I live in Nanny State uk I can't get that stuff over the counter. I suppose it'll be an ibuprofen & Scotch cocktail. Single malt of course.
Getting tattooed by Jordan at Frith Street on Saturday, all being well. An old back problem has flared up again, I'm in fucking agony at the moment.
A couple of days taking it easy and I should be ok, fingers crossed.
Has anyone else heard of this, amazing.
And this in Japan

The potential for this is mind blowing, especially when the price comes down to a level when there are affordable versions of this technology for use in the home.
A consultation with Jordan at Frith Street this Saturday. I'm looking to get a couple of dragons to fill a bit of space on my back.
@Jade1959 has got a consultation with Valerie Vargas as well.
No new work during November & December for me. I'm getting the shakes.
@Lochlan Hi Lochlan me and the missus are fine thanks. Consultations with Valerie Vargas for Glynis for a backpiece and one for me with Jordan at Frith Street on Saturday.
