Yup, me too, within the first 36ish. That's why I think it was partially how the tattoo was laid down in those areas. Karma, baby.

@UgleButProud - thanks for the picture - that is a great illustration of how to do it. I think I will do it but I'll ask the artist if they are ok with it first.

Congratulations @beez! So awesome to hear. Although I've never heard of a "401 fuckingk." Is this a new money saving method for tattoos? Do they match up to the first 3%? That could go a long way to funding some fillers for free. ;)

Hats off to you! I did a zillion sessions averaging about 2.5 weeks between sessions, and it was a rough haul, although it takes me a good 12 days to finish a peel. Glad to hear that your diabetes is under control, and welcome!

@UglyButProud - the -derm on your chest looks like it is all one piece. Was that several pieces? And they all stuck together and didn't leak in between? I'm seriously considering -derm for my next tattoo.

Spine healed fine for me. The sides up near the armpit scabbed every session on both sides and on ribs all the way down to my hips. I lost a little bit of color in several places but the final touch-up session took care of that. I took such good care of it but I couldn't avoid the scabs. I'm not sure if it was movement during healing or the area was a little more chewed up since as a girl I've got a little more fatty tissue there to grind through. Or because I'm older and the wounds just don't heal as easily as they used to. I sit at work but try to move around a lot, and resumed running half way through healing, although the scabs had already formed by then. Excellent on the healing @BrianH!

Welcome! Congrats on making the decision to take back your arm - you won't regret your coverup if you find a good artist and have a good discussion. They have the eye to look at what you have and make something awesome to cover it.

I think Amazon sells SPF 50 inflatable pool lounge chairs, but they're probably more expensive.

Welcome! It will be probably a challenge to change your tattoos because they are pretty dark and as you said, not very readable, so making changes probably won't make it more readable unless you went pretty big. Maybe think about a new tattoo and find an artist who does things that don't look as boring to you?

I don't think there has been any "controversy" or anything in a negative way and I hope @Rob I doesn't take it that way. I certainly didn't mean it as anything other than "wow," and imagining if it were in any way possible to have gotten mine done in a an unexpectedly short time. It's interesting to hear about some tattoo artists being faster or slower than whatever anyone considers an average time for a particular tattoo. Mine certainly could have been a little faster if we didn't take 2-3 passes on some parts (different sessions) to really pack in the color. That was very unexpected and not pleasant!

I second this. I run my fingernails lightly over my clothing and that helps. It's not a true scratching but it really helps. Maybe part of that is psychological!
