i think it off putting, i dont think i would work in a shop that had pornography laying in plain site of the costomers.

now i'ts what overprivileged college kids drink to seem "working class" i'd rather be a working class tattooed dirtbag that drinks booshy beer.

i get dudes who are intimidated but wanna prove that they're not, "yeah i'd get tattoos but it'd hafta be something that means something" (implying that all my tattoos are dumb) so i reply "so you don't have anything that means anything in your life?" usually shuts them up.

hi my name is falcon. i'm originally from new york where i did my apprenticeship. i lived in LA for several years before i moved to phoenix where i work at black lotus tattooers. and i have been tattooing since 2003.

i honestly dont think i could do one of these shows even if i wanted to. if it was just them filming me for hours on end and then editing what i said to make me look like an asshole that'd be one thing, but being forced to act out the scenarios the producers come up with is where id freeze up. i lived in LA for seven years if i wanted to be an actor i wouldnt have started tattooing. and by now anyone who chooses to be on those shows knows what theyre in for. we all know that its just a big stupid soap opera and the edit it to make the tattooers look ridiculous, so whats left? the money. theyre doing it for the money, and that is selling out

a bartender friend asked me to tattoo a mustache on her finger and her eyes got all big like it was such a great idea. so i got real excited and said "i gotta better idea, why dont we tattoo the words 'played out' on your finger instead"? she got mad but she also never got the tattoo done.
