  1. Exercise and fitness oh my LOL What I like to do is some basic Chin-ups, Sit-ups and Push-ups. Usually I pick 2 of them to do every other day. I also like to do some basic stretches everyday. Then I have my heavy bag in my basement that I like to use about once a week. In the summer I like to go for nice jogs about 40min or so usually on the weekends. For winter I use my shovel to push snow to one side of my driveway then use my snow blower for one or two passes. My driveway is quite long as I live in the country. Its about 20-25 car lengths long. I am talking like mid-size cars to trucks, not those smart cars. Now I do like my food I do try to eat healthy and what not but I am no superhero. (look at my pics in my profile and my gallery lol) I could stand to lose a few pounds. but then who couldn't lol oh well time for supper. Eat well and have fun!
  2. I totally agree with you Alanna that was a great article. I enjoyed reading it too. I know that I don't ever regret getting my first tattoo and I don't think I will regret my last(when ever that one will be who knows. I have too many ideas LOL)
  3. I love being a part of this Forum. You use to skate too I take it? seeing as the plan B video was such an influence for you?

  4. Wow I loved reading that article. I think many here could learn a lot if they would adapt just a few of these traits of etiquette.
  5. I am not 100% sure if he was or not but that is some amazing skating they do. It just blows my mind to think about how it can possible have that much control. Even then you have to remember to watch the parts of the movies that show how many times they bail on a trick, and how bad they hurt themselves. Oh the hours spent trying to duplicate some of the less technical tricks and busting my self up in the process. :( I know those injuries will come back to haunt me some day.
  6. I have a feeling that as tattoos become more mainstream and accepted in day to day life we will see a huge shift on the perception of tattoos from this "that guy/gal must be bad or from prison because he/she has tattoos" to "hey I wonder what that tattoo is all about". You can already see it happening from a difference of 15 years ago to now. Now to be a little more on topic, If I saw a woman with tattoos in public I think that hopefully with their caring nature they would easier to approach to ask about their tattoos. In general I do like to look at tattoos on people while in public male or female. When I see really nice work I do like to ask about the artist who did the work. I think that in most cases (Female or Male) people will be kind if you do show actual interest to the artwork adorned upon them. I know that I do when put in that situation.
  7. Here you go you wanted a video of it. Same shirt every time he gets thrown out LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6s4lkcNg7k&NR=1
  8. I used to watch this video and many others all the time when I used to work at a skate shop. I love watching Rodney Mullen's technical style it just blows my mind at how good a skater he is. Another amazing sample of his skating was in the videos Rodney Mullen vs. Daewon Song 1 and 2. Loved those ones too.
  9. There some good videos here. The collection would not be complete with out this video.

  17. YES!!!!! This is hilarious!!! is this even possible? I laughed so hard I had tears. I don't care if its real or not its too funny
  18. Lochlan you have the most awesome topics. Well I'll add my 2 cents on this. For me I feel that a tattoo can be many things. First off, sure a tattoo can have a meaning even if you don't realize that it does. Do you think that maybe for some unforeseen reason you were attracted to an image with out knowing its meanings only to find out later that the image suits your personality perfectly, or even some of your beliefs. Some tattoos are carefully planned out with piles of research on their meanings before the ideas and images start flowing. Secondly, a tattoo could be just an image thats it, nothing else. It could be just to look cool or to accentuate the body. For me I have a fine balance of tattoos. Some are ones that I really like and don't have meanings for. Some of my tattoos I have wondered about why I picked certain images only to look into their meanings and find out more about my self. LOL. :) Given the chance, Sure I would get tattooed by a great artists, but not necessarily a specific shop. Here is an example where it could have happened if I was not already getting tattooed. I was at the NIX convention a few years back and I was getting my koi tattoo. Steve Peace was sitting right beside me bored because his client was a no show. Well that would have been a great opportunity to fill in for his no show appointment and get a great pin-up tattoo.
  19. That's a killer tattoo! You cant tell if it has been signed by the artist. Nice pic
  20. Wow SilentEcho On your first post too! Well said and well put
  21. More like toss him out the front door onto the sidewalk or the bushes LOL I can still see that
  22. The guy was most likely some religious fanatic or maybe just some plain old jerk that has no human decency. Either way sometimes you just got to react to the situation at hand and it may not be pleasant. Better to show them how rude they are towards another fellow human.
  23. I think that for the tattoo lotions and salves, they help in the healing process but mostly help out the skin area where you were tattooed from cracking while healing. As Shotsie Gorman said "Everyone heals differently" you just have to follow the artists instructions unless you already have a killer healing method, in which case share your info with your artist an see what they have to say about your method. Also I have heard that Polysporin, neosporin and petroleum based creams are not good for the healing of a tattoo as they pull ink out.
