Well I think that this goes back to the tattoo placement thread. A nice collared shirt and tie can cover up lots. The bubble you speak of is a darn large one as it can be and is like that here too (with a few exceptions)

LOL Shitty Jobs. But it is true if we take all of those jobs and send them out of the country that leaves so many people without jobs to support their families. Thus leaving the economy in a deeper state of ruin.

Favorite Movies for Tattooers and Tattoo Customers
RockelMan replied to Lochlan's topic in Random Crap
I like watching action films like The Matrix, Lord of the Rings. I read the series before the films came out. It was really neat to see what I had read and imagined put on the big screen. Sad that they left out Tom Bombadil. I remember at the end of the first movie this girl about 15ish said to her friend what a stupid way to end a movie. Is that all there is to the story? I really enjoy and watch at least a few times at Christmas, National Lampoon's, Christmas Vacation. Cars was an awesome movie too. Oh and K-Pax was really neat too. Usually my wife and I will go to a movie if it looks really good, if it looks ok we might buy it on dvd / blue ray much cheeper than going to the movies.- 68 replies

I have a few random tattoos and I am having a sleeve done. I do agree with not having visible locations tattooed until all the other areas have been tattooed first. I believe that some areas should be a prerequisite before getting others areas done.

Hi everyone. Well like most here have said about their tattoos, I don't really have a favorite one I like them all equally for different reasons here's 2 pics

My latest tattoo is the sleeve that is still in progress I will post pics when its done. The current image being worked on is of a tiger crawling down my arm

appropriating ideas from other artists
RockelMan replied to MsRad's topic in Tattoo Designs, Books and Flash
I am not a tattoo artist but I am a collector. I have piece of flash and the rest is all custom work. I do know a little about the tattoo trade and as I see it, if the work is flash the copying of it is what the shop is intending to do with it along with all the other shops that purchased the same flash sheets. So that's indeed copying images right there but, that was the intention all along for that type of work. When it comes to custom work and the artist, well is it not that all artists (well most of them anyway) start as an apprentice to learn the trade? Usually the apprentice is being taught by his/her master showing techniques and skill that they have learned way back when they were an apprentice. So during that time they may have drawn many images for practice but would the image not be in the masters image? The Master knowing what they like and how to draw something with out intention making the apprentice draw an image in the same manner that they would. In essence copying another artist. Until the apprentice can use their own flair what ever they do would be a copy of their teacher. A great artist will change an image to make it their own before tattooing it, even though it may look similar to, or have aspects that are similar to the original image. Blatantly outright copying of some ones custom image and selling it as your own will upset the karma gods.- 77 replies

Religious and Spiritual Tattoos
RockelMan replied to Lochlan's topic in Tattoo Designs, Books and Flash
Yes it seems that lots of religions that use Jesus as a focus have forgotten that Jesus was Jewish. That's religion for you. I am not trying to open a can of worms it just seems like I am. sorry if I offended anyone.- 57 replies
