  1. Ya just need to do a culling from time to time. My FB has NO work colleagues, no people I have just met the night before, no friend of a friend request & no family members. It's kept solely for a close knit group of people to communicate and organise stuff. Bullshit postings & a shooting the mouth off gets an instant delete or block. Hence, I don't have 1500 "friends".
  2. Kinda like that @SeeSea. I found drilling the sternum was breathtakingly painful. As we know, if we can control the breathing, the body is more relaxed, hence the mind tuning in sync making for a much more pleasant experience. Good luck today with your session. Love handles = sucky. On another note, does any of us agree that chicks seem to handle the pain better than us fellas? I've seen a lot of females cop long & brutal sessions and their composure is truly one to be respected.
  3. Same same. Especially banging out the sternum. By the time we did the same, and worked down to the stomach after smashing top torso, it was like back to relaxing and enjoying it more again.
  4. Yeah. Leave it in the hands of the tattooer. It'll come up trumps. While he's working on this piece, start throwing some ideas together on how you can extend it down to the wrist. ...some animal features would be cool. A big dragon outer forearm, tiger inner & use the same background to tie it all in. Any subject matter mate, whatever you like. That's the thing I like about sticking with one tattooer, it's kinda like we design on going work together. Looking good anyway [emoji106]
  5. Yes. Just a trad bluebird, couple of banners, black & red..nice and simple.
  6. Haha! Now we're talkin' @elcapitanosparros! Speaking of Coopers...it's 7.13pm EST...way past my sparkling ale time.
  7. It only goes for 20 mins...go on, do yaself the favour....bluetooth it to your system, crank it!
  8. @KBeee. Of course we can stop, sort of. We just choose not to eh ? ?
  9. Thrown me sides & a leg in, not me back yet I think. Anyway, back tattooed by CP, Brisbane Australia. Cheers.
  10. Just got word one of the boys is returning home to Australia after over 12 months in Canada. Viewing a beautiful 2013 Road King for him this Sunday, and if this motorcycle is good as it reads and looks in the pictures, we'll have the brother stepping off the plane, straight back onto two wheels and riding again in 3 weeks on a welcome home 2 day run. Sandy beaches, open fires & away from the city lights..again. Happy days.
  11. I know ya said at 1st ya didn't wanna go big, but then now thinking something large that would extend high. That was my initial thought when I 1st read your post. Go big, sleeve out the leg solid.
  12. That there's being exposed to a good insight. My 10 year old son is the same. He's constantly talking about his future body suit. How he's gonna slam a huge battleship across his back, full flight eagle across his chest, lightning bolts and skulls. They're funny as. When we returned from riding one of the motorcycles the other arvo and as we're rolling the bike back into the lounge room, my 9 year old daughter looked at him and said...Dylan, I reckon when your older, your gonna be a tattooed biker. The boy just took one look at her and simply said...100%.
  13. We grew up with some heavy dudes in the early to mid eighties who got into tattooing their faces and shit, but typical jailhouse style. I can honestly say but, that face portrait I have never seen anything quite like it. Truly unfuckenbelievable.
  14. I can see your just really wanting to have this tattoo finished and can definitely appreciate how frustrating it is that it's taking so long. Don't let the change in price confuse you too much, I'd take a guess and just say he's working in with shop policy, but everything compounds when we don't know what's going on. Make an appointment to see him face to face. Sit down with your schedule and match it against his. Iterate your need to have the tattoo completed. Knuckle in and smash it out...if resources are not the issue. It's the communication both sides that makes it harder half the time. Good luck with it, I'm sure it'll be sweet once you sit down with the person and forge a way forward.
  15. My oldest daughter wanted to slam some bullshit passage down her rib panel. I said, sweetheart...I love you, but if you ruin prime real estate like that with shit text, I'll be forced to trade you for another daughter with more brains. She's 25 this year and has learned the sound advice given by her father.
  16. I reckon! I was belting the motorway one afternoon, cruising in 6th on my Harley sitting in the right lane in the right wheel track of the car sitting in front of me doing 120. Next thing, this sports bike and pillion fuckin flew past me, overtaking me on my inside of the same lane splitting the traffic doing fuck knows what speed, but I tell ya, I had only just checked my mirrors a second before and no sign of anything coming up close. Mind you, he woulda been in my blind. Imagine, as we do, I jumped wheel tracks for whatever reason right at the same time. All I could do was shake my head as he and his girl dressed in shorts and singlets became a dot in the distance. Yeah, I get blown away at the lights by sports riders, and yeah I gotta work my gears, but it ain't much of a lifestyle without a life.
  17. Lane splitting at high speed. Now that's a gamble I'd never take. Filtering under 30k/h is starting to become legal here, but splitting high speed? Insane.
  18. That's the thing with cagers. They only ever look at the best of times for another car. Never does it enter their minds to shoulder check for a motorcycle, unless you ride one yourself. I rode up to an intersection a few weeks back just as the ambos were putting the sheet across a motorcycle rider been taken out at the lights. Someone ran a red. Another family dad doesn't make it home to.
  19. Oh yes, love handles, now that was a memorable experience which I'm glad I'll never have to re encounter. The arm pits were a funny one, cause around them was fucked, but when we were drilling the centres, I found them to be almost enjoyable.
  20. The knee isn't as hard to handle as you imagine. The knee ditch on the other hand stands up to its reputation.
  21. It always is unpredictable isn't it. Plenty of times I've gone in thinking breeze, and it's been far from a breeze and vice versa. We really never know what we're going to experience until we're under that machine. Simply just coming down to never becoming nonchalant about it and treat every sitting with the respect it deserves... if that makes sense. It's like in our things that people say that shit you thread...you must get used to the pain after all this time. I can never see how that statement would make any sense to anyone at anytime. How do you get used to pain? One of my answers to people when I feel like it is, part of me getting tattooed so extensively is because of the pain factor. Pain dictates everything in life. Learn to manage it, I can learn to sustain anything.
