  1. J.R. out of Vicious Tattoos in Rochester Hills MI did great work as always. Sorry for the crappy before pictures, I took them the night before, I should have let him take one.
  2. I have a dragon on the back of my forearm that I want to have fixed. The issue is that the tattoo was designed as a color piece but the guy that did my tattoo thought it could pull off doing it just with black... he was wrong. sorry for the poor picture, its in a hard spot to take a picture. I want to add color to it, the guy that has done my last few tattoos is great at color stuff. So my question is what color/colors would you guys go with? Obviously I will go with what the artist thinks will look good but I want to have ideas in case he asks.
  3. I will have to try to get better pictures of mine, he used blue in the skull that you can not even see with the current pictures.
  4. went in to ask him about getting an older tattoo fixed and ended up getting a spur of the moment tattoo. excuse the crappy pictures as I forgot to ask him to take a picture for me so I had to try to do it myself at home afterward.
  5. I am pretty sure my tattoo counts as a geeky tattoo.
  6. whoops. looks like I exceeded the bandwidth on my photobucket account. lets try again.
  7. I have posted this in other spots here but I guess this is actually the correct spot. here is my newest tattoo. My tattoo before that was from the same artist, Rev J.R. out of Vicious Ink in Rochester Hills MI. I also got a tattoo at Vicious Ink from one of their apprentices Tim. All of my other work is older and not worth posting :)
  8. Thanks, I appreciate it! I am not up to speed on tattoo types. What exactly makes a tattoo "traditional"? the guy that did my futurama tattoo did my last tattoo as well and I "think" he called it traditional.
  9. why is that? I am not sure I understand the objection.
  10. would you consider this copying? I found artwork on the internet that I liked and the artist changed it to make it more suitable as a tattoo. the original art. the tattoo.
  11. i just treated it the same as any other part.
  12. when I got my sleeves done I didnt have anything specific in mind so I mostly just had him do what he was good at.
  13. lets see those pictures!

  15. thank you sir! - - - Updated - - - i found the original on the internet and had my artist adapt it to a tattoo.
  16. What do you consider copying? I found the design for my last tattoo on the internet but my artist made some changes. the original drawing from the internet. finished tattoo.
