I'm searching for samurai/outlaw stories that can pair with flowers, any really, cause most of them that i have found it wasn't traditional to have any flora in them....although i Think kyomunryu shishin can be paired with Cherry blossoms, but not sure...

its gonna be a japanesetaira tomomori sleeve on my right arm, i'm in to quite alot, iv done everything from giger charcoal drawings to traditional spitshading flash, but i can honestly say the giger drawing was easier, i really can't do traditional haha but nowadays i'm really into painting japanese stuff, with mixed results obviously but hey, mistakes equal progression i guess. - - - Updated - - - hahahaha skåne is home of the vikings!!!

Hey guys, i'm a 18 year old art student who is really into tattoos and hoping to become an apprentice some day! Found this forum via the youtube docs and liked the idea of sharing opinions and thoughts round this great Culture, i've got a walk-in tattoo on my left arm and planning to get some more, also getting a sleeve on my right arm in the coming months, i might also upload a few of my drawings/paintings if i can take the time to get a good photo of them, sadly sweden gets dark at 4 nowadays and thats when i come home from school haha, hope to get some uploaded soon though. anyway any questions or just wanna say hi feel free to comment or send me a private message, thanks.

yeah i googled bonji after i posted last and i read it was sankrit so i got abit confused haha, so it isn't disrespectful if my artist signs it without a hori title? thanks.

my tattooer was'nt to keen on it but he didn't exactly say no, more like we would look in to it. i have the book bushido legacies of the japanese tattoo but it didn't contain any information on the specifics of who could put in the bonji tag, if you could send a link to the book when you get home it would be greatly appreciated. eitherway thanks alot for the info!

i'm starting a tomomori sleeve in febuary next year and just wanted to ask if my tattooer signs the tattoo will it still be respectfull to japanese tattoo? as i really want him to sign it but at the same time i don't want it to be disrespectful to the cultur., as i read that only people with a hori title can sign it, but then again i've seen others do it too who don't have hori titles so wanted to here from you guys? my first post here so sorry if it was posted in the wrong thread, cheers!
