So here's a long overdue update on my back. its coming along...Unfortunatley life gets in the way and I wont be back for more work until mid November and I'll have to book some more appointments soon for december and into the new year.
I was really hoping ot get to Montreal for some more work and check out the convention scene but Im in a wedding that weekend so it'll have to wait for next year.
anyways, done by Scott Duncan at Sugar Shack Tattoo in Kincardine ON. He's one hell of a guy, and I love going there

session 4 completed, another 3 hours putting detail and some colour into the octopus, sitting at 14 hours now...stoked !

Had a whirlwind trip to Demnmark this weekend for my second session with Henning Jørgensen. I am extremely happy with how it's turning out.

Scott Sylvia is taking walkins tomorrow at Black Heart. I don't have the cash, but will look for the next one. Sounds like a ton of fun.

This was pretty much the home stretch at this point. Once all the shading was done, the color was only about 1/3 of the remaining time I spent with Dana.
I love Dana's snakes. Once mine got colored in, I couldn't stop staring at it, I still can't. Also everyone loves the blue, and so do I. It's bold, and it'll be awesome for a long time.
I spent a lot of time at Read Street Tattoo in Baltimore and it was a great shop. The final session was in Dana's tattoo lair at his home in Maryland and it's a true honor to be a member of his back piece club.

Finished up a leg with Lehi. First two sessions at Blackheart, final session at Temple. Last year I got tattooed by Stewart Robson at Blackheart and I was saying I wanted to get some big work from Tim. Stewart told me flatly that I had to get a tiger.
Turned out Ok I guess, if you're into that sorta thing...
This is about 3 weeks healed (photo taken today). From his IG

I had my second to last back session yesterday. I'm not going to post pictures because it was mostly ass and back of thigh shading, and as a nice bonus we hit my love handles, touched up some of the background and darkened up my ribs a bit. It was all grey wash so it's angry and red at the moment. Like @cltattooing said above, super cool. I go back next month to do the final bells and whistles: the tiger's claws and paws, his eyes, the inside of the snake's mouth, but we're almost done. I'll try to get some good pictures when it's all done and settled in.

Finished all of the linework today. 4 hours on the ass and ribs was super cool. u______u
But on the plus side it is the most gorgeous tattoo ever and I could not be more thrilled about having gone through with this. Also I met Ed Hardy today and I was pretty much naked except for a drape sheet and my socks so that was awesome haha :rolleyes:

Second session today...3 hours background shading on one side. Thats 8 hours all up so far. Good times !

@Cork I'll have pictures for you guys soon! @Graeme ugh yours looks so good though! Been rad to see it all come together so fast, big ups to everyone in this thread for their dedication.

I found this site through Black Heart in SF. I've only ever been on the receiving end of the tattoo machines and have a few pieces from Ron Wells, Heather Bailey, and Maxime Buchi.
