Both Chow and Source looks nice. Chow has a private room that accomodates up to 18 guests if we book in advance though;Chow Restaurant

I can go for whatever with the exception of seafood. Not a big fish/crustacean fan.

I'm staying at this place:

Would it be an idea to maybe send out an "LST anniversary get together" email to forum members in case not everyone sees this thread?

And what is this I hear of Mike Giant tattooing again? Where's he located at now?

I don't care where we meet up, I'm just excited that it's happening. I'll be in need of some good directions though. Which bart/bus/train/hovercraft to take and so on.

What are the dates you're here?
I arrive on the evening of the 20th, and leave early in the morning of the 27th.

At the first page of LST I'm greeted with this message:
"Iwar, you do not have permission to access this page."
And the home button that used to be to the left of the forum button is gone...
What's the dilly yo?

@Iwar, Scott did this one on me around January/February.
Holy shit! That lived up to my expectations. Thanks for sharing that with us Patrick.

Anyone have any pictures of any Scott Sylvia Lady heads? I don't think I've come across one yet...

@abees, fuck you for getting a kickass chad koeplinger tattoo as your first! I hate you! ;)
So, to the folks that have a shitty first tattoo like myself; are you planning to cover it or keep it? I'm actually leaning towards keeping it. Atleast for now.

I felt like blowing some life into this old thread.
I got this tattooed in some random tattoo shop in Copenhagen back in 2000. The design is taken from my dad's old businesscard (he's a guitar luthier).
The picture was taken two minutes prior to posting...
Your turn!

Trash polka is the term that the folks at Tattoo, Tattoos und Piercings vom BuenaVistaTattooClub in Würzburg -Germany are using for this kind of stuff.
Oh, and if you thought the trash polka stuff was bad I advice you not to scroll down.........
"Art brut" is apparently what they call it......... (pictures stolen from tattoosnob.com)

how did you do the @stewartrobson thing? that's cool!
@Valerie Vargas, you just did, but you missed the space in stewart's profile name.

I personally don't care for this style of tattooing, but I'm curious to hear what the rest of you think. To my untrained eye it looks like it's applied decently enough, but I suspect the "no outline" thing won't age with dignity...

Ended up getting the shading and lining done last night, had to the push the appt back a day later. I can send a PM to anyone interested in seeing it.
Why not just post it here? I bet everyone's interested!

my smoking animal arm
Now that's a theme!

I really like Eckel's work. He's located at Conspiracy Inc. in Copenhagen
-
Maybe just add a "like" function to the pictures could be an alternative?... Oh, and @steve1461686340, did you see my thread on the possibility of getting updates on new pictures and blog posts by hitting the "what's new" button?

I agree with Hogg. The star rating thing is kinda lame...

Chris O'Donnell isn't featured beyond the interviews in the Grime episodes I believe.
Here's the schedule for what's to come (taken from Shawn's blog)
Troy Denning – New York City | Air Dates – Trailer: August 31 | Pt. 1: September 7 | Pt. 2: September 14 | Pt. 3: September 21 Troy Denning is the owner of one of New York’s premier tattoo parlors, Invisible NYC, as well as the owner of one of the most unique styles. Troy seeks to go beyond the work of other Japanese style tattooers, and searches for influence in the original Ukiyo-E masters. He has worked a variety jobs from mineworker to strip club security guard, all of which have added to his special outlook on life. He is a self-proclaimed karaoke master, and a fixture of New York’s Lower East Side.
Mike Rubendall – New York City | Air Dates – Trailer: September 28 | Pt. 1: October 5 | Pt. 2: October 12 | Pt. 3: October 19 Mike Rubendall comes from the colorful world of old school tattooing in New York City, learning the tricks of the trade from the infamous Frank Romano at a biker shop on Long Island. Mike has come a long way from mopping the floors of his teacher’s tattoo parlor, and now owns his own shop, King’s Avenue Tattoo, in New York City. Mike is full to the brim with tales of his varied experiences as a tattooer, from working on Damon Dash in the Hampton’s to watching his co-workers piss into a woman’s purse
at a local bar.
Freddy Corbin – Oakland | Air Dates – Trailer: October26 | Pt. 1: November 2 | Pt. 2: November 9 | Pt. 3: November 16 Once the young turk of the Bay Area working with tattoo luminaries Ed Hardy and Dan Higgs in the early 90′s at Tattoo City, Freddy Corbin is now an elder statesman of the tattoo scene. Freddy proclaims that he is a spiritual man, whose shop looks like a cross between the Sistine Chapel and an old bar. He has battled addiction and dealt with loss but always maintains a positive outlook on life. Two years ago, he tattooed villagers for free in India on the banks of the Ganges River as a spiritual offering before the birth of his son.
