Who do you think deserves some recognition?
Iwar replied to Iwar's topic in General Tattoo Discussion
I really like Eckel's work. He's located at Conspiracy Inc. in Copenhagen http://eckeltattoo.blogspot.com/ -
Maybe just add a "like" function to the pictures could be an alternative?... Oh, and @steve1461686340, did you see my thread on the possibility of getting updates on new pictures and blog posts by hitting the "what's new" button?

I agree with Hogg. The star rating thing is kinda lame...

Chris O'Donnell isn't featured beyond the interviews in the Grime episodes I believe. Here's the schedule for what's to come (taken from Shawn's blog) Troy Denning – New York City | Air Dates – Trailer: August 31 | Pt. 1: September 7 | Pt. 2: September 14 | Pt. 3: September 21 Troy Denning is the owner of one of New York’s premier tattoo parlors, Invisible NYC, as well as the owner of one of the most unique styles. Troy seeks to go beyond the work of other Japanese style tattooers, and searches for influence in the original Ukiyo-E masters. He has worked a variety jobs from mineworker to strip club security guard, all of which have added to his special outlook on life. He is a self-proclaimed karaoke master, and a fixture of New York’s Lower East Side. Mike Rubendall – New York City | Air Dates – Trailer: September 28 | Pt. 1: October 5 | Pt. 2: October 12 | Pt. 3: October 19 Mike Rubendall comes from the colorful world of old school tattooing in New York City, learning the tricks of the trade from the infamous Frank Romano at a biker shop on Long Island. Mike has come a long way from mopping the floors of his teacher’s tattoo parlor, and now owns his own shop, King’s Avenue Tattoo, in New York City. Mike is full to the brim with tales of his varied experiences as a tattooer, from working on Damon Dash in the Hampton’s to watching his co-workers piss into a woman’s purse at a local bar. Freddy Corbin – Oakland | Air Dates – Trailer: October26 | Pt. 1: November 2 | Pt. 2: November 9 | Pt. 3: November 16 Once the young turk of the Bay Area working with tattoo luminaries Ed Hardy and Dan Higgs in the early 90′s at Tattoo City, Freddy Corbin is now an elder statesman of the tattoo scene. Freddy proclaims that he is a spiritual man, whose shop looks like a cross between the Sistine Chapel and an old bar. He has battled addiction and dealt with loss but always maintains a positive outlook on life. Two years ago, he tattooed villagers for free in India on the banks of the Ganges River as a spiritual offering before the birth of his son.

Agree with Jake. They seem to have gotten nice work, but I suspect that the tattoos are more a part of the rockstar-emokid-image type of thing for these dudes than it is a true passion for tattoos. But who the fuck am I to judge or speculate... I got my first tattoo because I played in a band and wanted to look cool too.

Sorry to go off topic here, but I saw a picture of this lamp on Tim Hendricks blog, and it was truly stunning!!

2'nd Ursula's suggestion. I bet matching roses would look really cool on the knees. Actually, I think I just found out what I want to get when I get my knees done :)

Cat heads seems to be a good fit for knee-designs. I especially like these: Jim Sylvia Valerie Vargas

Ryan Mason's work is awesome! I've been wanting something from him for quite some time now. Check out this amazing backpiece: -
Since this site is open for anyone to join I suggest a policy of no "breaking into the business" related questions as a forum rule. All that does is keeping tattooers away, thus making it alot less fun for all of the other members who are genuinely interested in talking about tattoos.

Guys, why care to discuss anything other than the quality of his work? This is a tattoo forum isn't it? The whole hipster thing is not that big here in Norway, so maybe that's why I'm not getting as annoyed by it as some of you. We got more than enough bad vibes from bubblefuck's endless tirade a while back, so why get fired up and argue over something as trivial as the way Cris chooses to dress or cut his hair? I'm not trying to fuel the fire with this post, just merely trying to put it out... Can't we all just get along and ride beautiful unicorns across the double rainbow?

I really like his tattoos and paintings. I was trying to book an appointment with him, but he told me he would have moved to NY and Saved Tattoo by the time I was going unfortunately. I think he comes of like a nice fella, and he makes really cool tattoos. I thought the video was cool and well worth a watch. Don't really get why blessedmatter seems so negative about Cris and the video.

I have snakeblood pouring out from my bellybutton! The navel lint must be the snake's guts spilling out.

Is there any way to make blog posts and blog comments appear when hitting the "what's new?" button? I always forget to check what's new on the blogfront because usually just hit the "what's new?" button whenever I log on here. I know it's pure lazyness, but it would be a nice to get the blog updates when using that function as well. It would also be nice to have a "new photos" button that basically did the same thing as the other one only with photos posted since you last checked.

I'm sorry to ruin the good atmosphere of this thread, but this is worth watching if you haven't seen it already....

I've also encountered a couple "under the fingernail" tattoos on the web. I cringe just thinking about it.

I totally forgot about that one! Here ya go:
