    I think right after the last of the Dan Santoro episodes aired a norwegian tattooer I follow on twitter wrote that VBS was going to film for tattoo age during his appointment with Rubendall, which at that point was a couple weeks away.

    Did you read the entire thread @LilMountain ?? And please be humble... Quotes like "I can't believe so many people here are so cliche-ish that they demand a tattooer conform to a stereotype" won't get you far here. Have you tried to understand why the majority of artists and enthusiasts here feel that tattooers should be tattooed, or was your mind made up before you clicked on the thread? Oh, and comparing tattoo artists to plastic surgeons or photographers is just downright silly if you ask me...

    @abees, fuck you for getting a kickass chad koeplinger tattoo as your first! I hate you! ;) So, to the folks that have a shitty first tattoo like myself; are you planning to cover it or keep it? I'm actually leaning towards keeping it. Atleast for now.

    I felt like blowing some life into this old thread. I got this tattooed in some random tattoo shop in Copenhagen back in 2000. The design is taken from my dad's old businesscard (he's a guitar luthier). The picture was taken two minutes prior to posting... Your turn!

    Trash polka is the term that the folks at Tattoo, Tattoos und Piercings vom BuenaVistaTattooClub in Würzburg -Germany are using for this kind of stuff. Oh, and if you thought the trash polka stuff was bad I advice you not to scroll down......... "Art brut" is apparently what they call it......... (pictures stolen from tattoosnob.com)

    I personally don't care for this style of tattooing, but I'm curious to hear what the rest of you think. To my untrained eye it looks like it's applied decently enough, but I suspect the "no outline" thing won't age with dignity...
