First time I got an appointment with him I got lucky and he had an opening when I randomly called Blackheart. This time though I called on his booking day and got 1 of 2 available appointments left. so it's really a toss up in my experience haha

Got this from Scott Sylvia over the weekend, very happy with it (stole the pic from blackhearts IG). Gonna go back to Blackheart for their walk in day in a couple weeks too.

had to cancel this one... But I did get an appointment today with Scott Sylvia for later in February.

Just booked an appointment with Heath Preheim for February. Can't wait.

I know it was said in the first post, but Austin Maples for sure. One of the nicest people I've ever met (even outside of tattooing), great client skills, awesome work, and is only 21.

My parents had already told me they wouldn't care if I got tattoos, unless I got something on my face or the like, so I told them about my first one. My second one was a christmas present from them, but my mom hates anything I get because they look "mean." My dad just asks me things like, "does it make a face when you flex that muscle?"

Thought I posted an initiation thread already, but apparently not. I've been lurking this board for the past month or so, and have learned a lot from various threads so I figured I might as well start posting here. Just a preface, I do not box haha I've been into tattoos since middle school when I started getting into punk/hardcore. I did not get one until I was 21 though (a small friday the 13th shark). I'm now 22 and have gotten 3 tattoos so far this year from some great artists and plan on getting practically fully covered in the future. I've attached my most recent one, which is from Austin Maples at Idle Hand. Nice to meet everyone! :D

Might as well book with Grime now too, I should have enough money saved come 3 years from now... I have an appointment with Tim Lehi in a couple weeks to do something on my shoulder. I only have a general idea of what I want and am probably gonna let him do his thing with most of it. He's one of my favorite (possibly my #1) artists/tattooers, so I'm sure I will not be disappointed.
