Australian in Australia too. I have tipped Tattooists but they have always been shy about it and tried to refuse. I worked in hospitality for years and tipping isn't normal. When I did get somebody who tips I honestly felt like I was accepting money from a sugar daddy. Kind of ... "here, go buy yourself a little something"

Ok ive tried searching in this thread but its now 2am and id like to go to bed, so im wondering if you could help? under boob tattoos. Ive been considering one but have a few questions. I have big boobs so going sans bra just isnt an option for the healing period. How do you go about healing an under boob tattoo with big boobs in the way? ( leaning more toward so it would be inline with under cleavage. So sternum tattoo really i guess????) Also, how do you discreetly get this sort of tattoo done? ( im keeping in mind the layouts of the tattoo shops here. Anyone walking off the street can see you, and as a married up 30 year old mother, my days of flashing randoms of the public are over ;) (maybe..) Will a bra just not rub it as much as I'm thinking? Or are there tricks? And do i just have to get a little creative with the wardrobe for the process or is there no real way to be discreet about it? Thanks!

Its been forever since ive been able to get in here so thought id start with a post here. Finally after years of just not being able to... im getting my raccoon thigh piece in feb and cant wait. I got pipes done back in may , on my right outter forearm and will get either my deer skull with arrows or ship being taken down by a kraken next ( either of those, comes down to where it would best fit as to which goes next. Theyre all part of a bigger project) So needless to say.... im pretty excited.

W.T.NORBERT! I would happily walk in to an appointment with him blind and just let him have at it! I have looked at pictures of his tattoos and have seen so many that originally I would not have chosen- but seen the way he does it and thought "shit I would actually get that!" also I really do love traditional Japanese tattoos. I love reading interviews with Horitoshi I,Horimasa, Kian Forreal (enjoy his articles in Australian Inked magazine too), I really love the tradition , love all the meaning and the way only certain motifs go together, and some don't even belong on certain body parts. I love all the rules! Though I doubt i'd ever get one because I feel a little like Wayne and Garth in Waynes world... "We are not worthy!" *commence bowing of worship* :D

beautiful! I really love how this thread took off! thanks again to all who posted pics! I will try and find a link to the video, but there is a show we watch called river monsters. Jeremy Wade looks into legends of river monsters then traces back what would have sparked them. In one episode he travels to Japan and discovers a legend about there river monster responsible for riverside disappearances of children. There are signs around the rivers warning people to stay away from the river for fear of being dragged off by this creature. There have been people report their children missing and believe this is the beast responsible. Anyway he traces it back to the giant salamander as they would be capable of swallowing a small child whole and grow up to something like 6ft. anyway what I was getting at was- it would be awesome to see as a tattoo! with the traditional imagery of course- not the giant salamander ;) . again- I will track down the link of that episode !

my first was 7 buerflies going from the front of my hip (on that boney bit) around my side to the top of where my hip starts to meet my waist. I was 19 and got it to mark leaving a really shit situation to embarking on a new one. id probably get the same thing again if I had my time over but I would probably get some realistic butterflies or some traditional flash instead of the 7 random butterflies I picked out of what flash was on the wall.then again- maybe not but I still love it :)

that video isn't working here- says its wont play in my country- I give my husband shit for being a hipster seeing its now trendy to have a beard and look like you actually know the meaning of hard work. He is anything but trendy though ;) and isn't afraid to shave his beard because its back within 2 weeks- which is why I also call him teen wolf :D

haha im married to a REAL "lumberjack" , and he is big and hairy :) not one of these types who likes to play dress ups and THINK they are one. that is a nice beard though- I do love me some beard!

Haven't posted in while, but today I am heading to my local and having a consult about 3 ideas I have running- FINALLY!! I was hoping to get to Sydney or Melbourne but that just ISNT going to happen any time soon.

not much in the house- finishing the last of the muscat right now while I listen to Guns'n'Roses. so many memories spring to mind when ever I listen to them :)
