This shop has good traditional tattooers. Liberty Tattoo-Seattle (LIBERTY TATTOO) on Myspace Levi & Matt Under the Needle Tattoo: Enter I like to visit as many shops as possible to get a feel for the shop, and to look at portfolios in person. There's so many good tattooers,it's hard to narrow it down to a few who's work you really like.I like to make a consultation with a few artists to see which one i click with. There's a lot of times where i like a tattooers style, but when I meet them,we don't connect with each other.

Welcome Sheila..I visited Seattle like 7yrs.ago,and met some real nice tattooers..Slave is one of the best shops. But like you said,it's more about clicking with the tattooer, then just going to a particular shop.I met this dude Curtis@ Anchor Tattoo | Seattle, WA | WORLDS FINEST TATTOO PARLOR A real nice guy that does traditional work. Old Tattoo Documentaries
Joe Shit replied to ShawnPorter's topic in Tattoo TV Shows, Documentaries and Media
I remember visiting Spider Web's shop on Broadway near Union Square Park. What a character..He always had young girls at his shop just hanging out. Those were the days where everyone was underground.I remember i called east side ink to find out their location. They told me to go to a certain phone booth which was near their shop and call them so they could see me,and then they told me where the shop was.I remember walking down the stairs to the basement studio, and there was no flash on the wall, just tattoos drawn up hanging in the hall, and in each artists room. What a magical place that shop was. -
I have some of those marks on my stomach too.I think there must be a baby in me that just doesn't wan't to come out. What part of the world you from?Maybe someone can recommend a good shop.
-
Hey Tick, you do some really nice work..I believe i had you as a friend on myspace..But who uses that anymore..I just met a girl here in Jersey,at a farmers market who had some work done at your shop.I think she said Evan did it.
-
I should try to do what you do,and lose weight before i get a new tattoo. It seems like i just keep on growing.I was probably 225lbs when i first started, now i'm about 310lbs. I'm half Italian too,and for me it's hard to stay away from sweet's,especially the holy cannoli.

Hey Liz,i was just trying to be funny concerning the Trenton Makes Bridge..I was a class clown in school, and still act like one.I new it had something to do with rubber.I do some light hiking myself.Just bought a book called 50 hikes in NJ.Who's doing your tattoos?
-
I ran from it, like most kids do. Moved to Philadelphia cause I wanted a faster paced life. It was the right choice, and I was lucky that my brother followed me up there, and eventually so did my folks. Now we've got a second place in New Jersey- town called Hammonton that is known for it's blueberry crops. Couple of acres but a spot with good fishing, a few miles from decent hunting and plenty of fertile soil on the property for a nice big garden.... It's great. Really helping me reconnect with my Dad and how he raised us. I've been to Hammonton before. My brother used to own a dessert truck, and we used to do italian festivals around Jersey.Have you been to that red barn on 206 where that lady makes pies, and cakes?
-
No i wasn't...I just took a guess it was her because she's been tattooing a long time. I know her shop was in NH,but she moved down to MA a few years ago.But she was one of the heavy hitters in the tattoo scene back then.
-
Welcome Janet..I'm also an enthusiast..I looked at your profile..Did you get tattooed by Juli Moon in NH?
-
Damn dude did your Dad teach you how to do all that stuff? You sound like that Native American guy on Dual Survivor who walks around in all kinds of terrain barefoot. Shit,i can barely take care of myself.Sometimes i feel like i need a chaperon with me.
-
As long as you don't cough a lung on me..And i'm sure i can loosen you up with some champagne, then I'll just overtake you with my massive body.
-
My life seems boring compared to most of you.My name is Joe,and i sit in front of the computer all day,and post on tattoo forums like this.I was born in Trenton NJ,it's the Capital. We have a famous bridge that say's Trenton Makes The World Takes.I don't know what they mean by that, but I'll tell you Trenton does make some of the nastiest hookers on the east coast.I got my first tattoo at 23yrs.old,and i was immediately hooked.I drive a truck for a living..I like to travel, and love going to NYC. I like to take long walks on the beach at night, and dream about Bo Derek running toward me with her arms out..If any girls are interested in this let me know,we can recreate that scene from the movie.
-
Welcome..Yeah,there's some excellent tattooers in AU.I believe Brisbane is pretty far from Trevor's shop.Where do you get tattooed?
-
I wan't more..It's like crack, but better..Do we have to wait a week for the next episode?
-
I don't have a facebook,or twitter, but i talk with a lot of people on the street with tattoos, and give out business cards to good shop's,and always try to remember to wright on the back of the cards this website, and a few other good tattoo blog's.I just try to inform the people i meet on the street how to go about getting good work.I just wish TLC didn't make these shows like soap opera's.I think the artists they have on NY Ink are real good, but it's all the other garbage that turns you off. Although i really like Tim & Tommy's work,i wouldn't get tattooed at that shop. It's weird some people you meet on the street, and they think you have to go to these shops to get the best work.I know a girl from Jersey who flew to Miami to get a tramp stamp. She said she wanted it done right.Well she ended up spending 800.00 for a tattoo she could have gotten for probably half that, plus the plane ticket, and hotel. Some people are just really uninformed; But it's sites like this that will hopefully point people in the right direction to gaining more knowledge about this amazing craft.Does that make any sense? If it doesn't,don't blame me,i only made it to the 9th grade.
