Never going for genitals! Sod that! Face is out of the running for me as well, I'm just not going to try and pull that off. I love the look of a well done pair of hand tattoo's and they are the spaces I'm most excited about filling, but that is a long, long time away for me. Nobody else has said this yet (I don't think) but I wouldn't get the back of my knees done, I have suffered from bad eczema in that spot forever so anything put there would suffer :(

Outside upper arm :) the forearm is a doddle though, I know what you mean, tbf the ditch is the only slightly painful place on the arm for me so far. I have limited experience though :D

Another appointment scheduled in with Gre Hale for the 25th October to add to my sleeve :) my favourite concept in the whole thing so I can't wait to see how it turns out. Also it's (allegedly) the easiest place to get tattooed so should be a really enjoyable one.

I am a relative newcomer to the game, I had my first tattoo two years ago, and am only on my sixth now, the speed at which I am getting them done seems to have ramped upwards though. I think, for me the fact that I can't afford to go out and get every single tattoo I want now (and I have a physical list of all artists and designs I want :cool:) is a good thing, my tastes and awareness of the art form have changed over the past two years, let alone the (hopefully) many more I have yet to live. I'll continue to go as quickly as my wallet allows me! It seems that a grass is greener attitude seems to prevail, I am lightly tattooed and am looking forward to being heavily tattooed and I know many others share that with me, however I have spoken to and read posts from people who are heavily tattooed and commiserating that they can't fit any more work in! So I am just trying to relax, and enjoy the ride, even though the next appointment cannot come soon enough ;)

I am an absolute wimp compared to people on here! Longest was 4.5 hours on the shin and that hurt like hell, was at a convention and the awkwardness of sitting across two chairs definitely didn't help. I've had ten hours work on my stomach over three sessions, and 2.5/3 hours on my ditch, and I feel like the next couple have to be in 'easy' places to give myself a break from hating on getting tattooed....

I am more than happy with all my tattoos, I feel like I am at the beginning of my journey compared to most people here but I love everything I have and I'm keen to get more! @Graeme Kerry-Anne is awesome, and a lovely person to boot. I would definitely recommend visiting Cock-A-Snook, amazing artists and a funky shop :D I also have work from Phatt German @ No Regrets Cheltenham, my first tattoo(s) on my stomach, can't get a decent picture for the life of me though. Next up is Gre doing more work on my sleeve on October 25th, once that is complete I'm hoping to get work from Sneaky Mitch Allenden and Miss Jo Black. Also in the pipeline, and mostly inspired from the thread on this forum, is a shoulders to hamstrings back piece, which is super exciting/nerve wracking.

I really like them, love the designs, the creativity and imagination that must go into putting one of these tattoos together. Would I wear one? Nope, too much negative space, too big a canvas needed in order to look as good as it should. I, for one, am very happy that everyone has different tastes and people explore these kinds of tattoos! Forgive me if this sounds ignorant (I am no expert) but it seems that this is one tattoo style that has been developed very recently, and I applaud that when originality is becoming harder and harder to come by. /£0.02
