Currently being a little biiiiiiitch. My buddy just finished his apprenticeship, so i agreed to him doing a little reaper on a skateboard on my inner calf. Been a super stressful day, and i can't get my calf to relax. Muscle has been super tense the whole time, and I'm hating life.

I think I'll stick to fuckin laser. Never heard of some one actually using that method willingly.

Sorry I'm not sure how to link to it from my phone, but there's a thread called " what makes a good tattoo" if you do a search for that, you should find tons of good information in there for you. As a general rule, tattoos with good use of black will age better. But you'll find a much better explanation of that in the thread I mentioned. Sorry this is such a half assed reply, I'm in desperate need of some sleep! Edit: nevermind, I didn't even realize that @TrixieFaux had already got this covered in another thread.

This is the best way to get tattoos. The tattooer should be good at drawing and designing, so if you give them a basic idea they can usually come up with something cooler than what the average person would, and designed to work well as a tattoo and age well.

Rad! It all depends on how smoothly the move goes, and if I can line up a good car or bike when i get there, but I'm going to do my best to go!

The events list also seems a lot cooler than a lot of conventions I've seen... more about tattoo culture and less about tits and ass.

Anyone going? Dates are June 13th and 14th, and the lineup has some fantastic artists! I'm moving to England about 3 weeks before this, so im not sure I'll be able to afford a tattoo, but I'm thinking of making this my first convention anyway. If anyone else is planning to go, it would be rad to meet some of you! Maybe I'll convince myself to get myself a late (June 3rd) birthday present...

Welcome dude! Adventure motorcycling sounds awesome, I'd love to give that a try some time. You sound like a good guy, and are doing it right with your first tattoos! Before reading this thread I had never even considered whether my or anyone elses tattoos match their clothing. Turns out the tattoo that is level with the bottom of my shirt sleeve clashes with the blue shirt I'm wearing right now.

This. My brother got an owl tattoo towards the end of their trendiness, and just got a mandala. He isn't the kind of person to follow trends, I'm guessing he was just exposed to those images because they were trendy. Both are awesome tattoos and will age well. Trendy things don't always have to be bad.

Nothing specific, but in a spectacular last minute decision I've decided to move to the UK in a few weeks instead of the SF bay area. Which means easy access to a whole lot of awesomeness that wasn't so accessible to me before!

Not quite the gym, but a few days after my last tattoo i played (horribly) a little tennis while messing around on vacation. Ended up taking of the -derm afterwards as it leaked everywhere.
