With a process as important as getting a piece of artwork permanently drilled into your skin, how could you NOT use a professional tattoo designer?? Online of course. Face to face interaction is so last generation

Fair enough. I enjoy your wording btw, cunt is such an expressive word. It should be used more often. What I was getting at was the fact that getting a tattoo in order to improve your odds of getting laid is a terrible idea. A few posts ago you (ryan) mentioned getting one as a way of improving yourself or motivation to do so. That's a much better way of seeing it.

Really? I thought the calf was kind of rough myself. I have bony shins as well, only parts that were painful at all really were the edges of the bone, where the muscle starts

I can't actually answer your question, but I can tell you that I found my shin to be amazingly easier than I thought it would be. As in, one of the easiest spot so far

I missed running over a car by inches today, in my semi truck. Had just changed lanes to catch an exit, and didn't have time to increase my following distance when he slammed on his brakes. I stood on the brakes, avoided the collision. Unfortunately the kegs of beer that were stacked in my trailer are no longer neatly stacked... not sure how that's gonna play out. In my defense, they weren't properly loaded in the first place, and as they were in the front of the trailer I couldn't see that. Still, I might catch the blame. But, I still didn't run dude over, so im calling it a positive.

That shit's haaaaaaard @misterJ I played hockey as well, mostly defense. We had a few practices where we would suit up two complete newbie goalies and mess around. I was terrible. My good friend and I did reenact the historic Avs v. Red wings goalie fight center ice, only slightly less violently. Brawling in all those pads is also very difficult.

I want, and totally plan on getting, something native american themed. Somewhat related, I also have a sugar skull (like 7 million other white people i know) Nobody has ever called me racist, insensitive, or anything of that nature because of it. I think it's all in how you approach it, and display it.

It will naturally look like the second one. The "shiny" you're seeing is either oil or lotion on a healed tattoo, or a very recent tattoo that hasn't healed yet. Once its fully healed in 1-3 months, it will have settled in and lost the shine.
