  1. once a tattoo is healed the sun will not hurt it, that being said, keeping yourself protected from the sun is a life long thing, skin cancer is a real concern, so sunblock if you will be in a hot sun for a while, etc etc, UV protection is also ongoing, just good practice to shield your skin form the sun, but it will not damage a healed tattoo.
  2. the top half of fingers keeps ink pretty well, the palm side not so well, I just got my wedding ring on the top half for that reason, I got this on my ring finger and all of the first knuckle about 5 or 6 years ago and they have held up good IMO, the one love ones are a little newer, and after the tattoo is healed, don't worry about the sun. life is short, get the tattoo.

    .

to me it looks like a lizard wearing a tuxedo
  4. it looks like a good tattoo to me, leave it alone, and if there is any blowout, there is nothing that can be done about it, so don't worry abou it and start planning your next tattoo.put the magnifying glass back in the desk.

    Is this normal?

looks %10000000000 normal , keep a little lotion daily on it like cocao butter or aveeno, JUST A LITTLE. again, it looks totally normal
  6. I'm pretty sure he means what we all feel, we have had enough of this thread, it's a fucked up tattoo by a scratcher and there is nothing that can be done to fix it, THERE ! that's it ! now let's move on from this.

    Stupid Question

yep, I have been using it on every tattoo for years now, I love the stuff, you can shower and sleep with no problems, after the second appliaction on the second day after getting the tattoo, I leave it on for 4 or 5 days, peel it off and it's on it's way yo healing real nice.remember to shave a large area around where you are going to get the tattoo, and look at the persoanl roll from saniderm. pretty cool shit

    Stupid Question

no, not at all (and like you said covered from the sun), as long as it's wrapped good, and have you considered a dermal film like Saniderm.com ? or a similar product ? check it out, the stuff is pretty cool.
  11. so whether it's 5min or 5 hours after a post, I cannot edit any posts anymore.it just goes to a blank page. @Steve
  12. so let's see a ral pic of your tattoo ! I call foul, and guess that you don't even have a single tattoo.
  13. I would leave it alone, and if you don't want to leave it alone, ask the tattooer that did it.
  14. I think it looks fine, it's a nice tattoo IMO, you have a common case of "tattoo remorse" and it will go away.
  15. pretty cool !.... I would love some work from her.
  16. hold on, so I was talking about the 4 brown stripe things, is NOT what you are referring to ? those are the only brown spots I see.
  17. IMO the artist intended that color in those spots, it looks like brown ink, ask the artist
  18. hi, and yes, you should have done more and better research on "american traditional" artists to go to. this tattoo is not done well IMO, so live with it , maybe have a better artist touch it up or rework it after it's healed, and please don't consider laser removal,it's not as good as most poeple think, it's very painful, takes many visits, and does not really "remove" a tattoo, and then chalk it up to a lesson learned and research your next tattoo. start finding good artists that do a style you like on instagram and follow them for a while. go to conventions, look on FB,talk to other tattooed poeple.
