  1. if I can,and it wasn't drawn directly me,I always ask for the original art and stencil and I ask them to sign the art,Alycia did for me. :) I have gotten the art from several artists in the past. I like to frame them for my office.
  2. IMO there is no global answer to this, all of us heal and react differently to many different methods. The only way to heal well is to find out which method works best for each individual ,and the only way to find that answer IMO is through trial and error. There is no blanket rule/method that works for everyone. in the many years that I have been getting tattooed,I have heard dozens of opinions, and methods seem to trend and change.
  3. this /\ . I stopped asking how much a long time ago.I just ask when it's done and pay for it and the tip.
  4. IMO it really does not matter,a full sleeve is an ongoing long term project, don't make a choice now,the thing you should consider is if you do will this work with what you want to continue on with later ? do you have a common theme you want to do ? plan ahead !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if I could do one thing over again,I would have thought farther into the future.
  5. that should run $100 to $2200 USD

  8. a 1/4 sleeve ? isn't that pretty much just a tattoo ?
  9. @AddisonHawke just remember one thing \/ find a good artist and don't try and "save" money.
  10. my girl Zephyr,those eyes :)
  11. ya I know,it's in 2 threads, but I love this one I got from Alycia Harr at Classic Tattoo in Grass valley today. It was an early birthday present from my wife.
  12. here are some crappy pics of an amazing tattoo I got today. . . .
  13. I have used Saniderm for a long time now,and I do get the red marks from the edges too, fortunately they always go away eventually, but I have never gotten blisters, ! ouch !
  14. ya,I get that too,I don't have a remedy ,but it goes away ,
  15. I just got the artwork for this one,and I am in love with it ! it's going to be full bold color.
  16. those parameters are set in place to prevent bonehead spammers from posting useless spam links here on this site. Linda,I'm sure you understand and agree with this policy.I am sure you dislike bonehead spammers as much as we do,seeing from your avatar how you are such a hot cool chick with no tattoos !
  17. ya,I have a loosely themed island/nautical theme on my legs now.
  18. upcoming for me I have a large traditional anchor from Oliver Peck on my right thigh in October and a traditional tiger head on my left hand on 08/25 from Alycia Harr planned. I have been getting back to some good old fashioned american traditional lately.
  19. it looks fine, the overlapping is not a problem,I put mine on in pieces sometimes,as long as there is no pockets of fluid under it,I leave it on for 3 or 4 days after the tattoo,it will already be at the peeling stage,I love that stuff.the warm feeling is also normal.it looks fine. Saniderm(the one I use) says this " For large areas, pieces of Saniderm may be overlapped ".
  20. yep ! glad no other major injuries, crazy stuff !
  21. my wrists were not necessarily worse than any other parts for me,IMO all tattoos hurt. don't let the pain level of a certain body part steer your desire to have a tattoo.
  22. it is hot here too,but I still love cruising the internet a lot !,and I can check it out on land or anywhere,it's pretty easy. . . . . . . . . . . LOL
