this is such an important story to be told, thank you so much for posting it here, simply amazing !
  2. we like it too,we watch every episode, it's kind of fun for us since we got tattoos from Oliver in feb this year at fresno, and we have 6 hours of appointments with him in SF on 10/22 at http://bayareatattooconvention.com/ he's a kick to talk to.
  3. welcome thekamelien, nice side piece, sit and stay a while. :)

    Fitness!

    I'm an old guy,but I manage to do 20 pushups and 20 sit ups and walk 1/2 mile 7 days a week,every morning. I know that's not much,but at 57 it's better than nothing ! LOL
  5. totally normal,I have tattoos all over my body, except my hands, and I have never swelled up on any tattoo, but recently I had my hands done and they both swelled up like crazy,no the swelling didn't hurt, and it went down in 4 or 5 days. here is my hand, swollen a day after, and then a month after and it's normal. and I started getting bruising in certain spots from getting tattooed that never happened to me before, but it went away , it should be ok,keep it elevated,or maybe ice it up a little,or try an OTC anti-inflammatory like advil or motrin(ibuprofen) or aleve(naproxen),keep it out of the sun.
  6. my wife got this trumpet flower/HB piece lastnight from Alycia Harr @ Classic Tattoo > Grass Valley,CA here is a crappy pic of a great looking tattoo. .
  7. @Charles.M I'm pretty sure Margot Robbie doesn't have those real tattoos ,it's just for the movie.I think the only real one she has is a tiny anchor on her ankle. and who cares if other people have similar tattoos anyway ? like was said,it's probably very common. there are probably thousands of women who have that tattoo there.
  8. the one in the picture above may or may not be,but did you read the entire article ? and yes,the entire thing could be bullshit, but just the idea of it repulses me. either way,a microchip is a much better tool for ID than any piercing or tattoos on any animal. as far as the "ID" thing goes,my dog is "chipped",I saw the procedure and it was like getting a vaccination ,I certainly would never consider piercing or tattooing an innocent animal.
  9. I know exactly how to feel ! there is no confusion at all ! it's very clear to me ! it's a fucked up thing to do on ANY living animal, we can easily and humanely chip pets for ID purposes, any type of tattooing animals should be illegal. ART ? LOL far from it. FUCK the whole idea and FUCK the people that are doing that !
  10. I will be at this one too,if anyone else is going pm me here for my # to text at the show.
  11. so my wife and myself will be at oliver Peck's booth getting tattooed from 11am to around 4 or 5 on Saturday 10/22, if anyone else is going and wants to meet, PM me here and I will give you my # to text at the show. :)

    I hate summer :(

LOL ,,, yes ! it's only going to 87 here this week ! I love fall/winter/spring the best for sure !
  14. there are no rules, and I have both my ankles done.
  15. it's a cool design for sure, you don't want that exact tattoo unless he hasn't done that as a tattoo yet,but it's a good base to show what you want. a good rule is "go big or go home",anyway,go bigger than you think you want, you will appreciate it later. on " inside of my heel/ankle area " IMO it would be too small.
  16. stop looking at it so close, it looks great ! let it finish healing and enjoy it.
  17. I totally meant that in only a positive and honest way, and I agree,my arms look unfinished if I raise my arms ! LOL
  18. I need to finish both my arms in that spot too,not looking forward to it. good job ! oh ! and @LizBee thanks for the motivation to get my "Inner bicep/pit area" finished !!! your post is helpful. :)
  19. I have had similar issues with red ink over the years,I'm not allergic, but it used to heal badly compared to other colors and black,I will say though in the last 10 years the red inks have been better quality and it does not happen anymore to me.IMO it's partly due to better quality inks and me knowing more about healing. 25/30+ years ago when I was getting tattooed, red ink was notorious for this problem.I have been getting tattooed since 84.
  20. try contacting her and ask her if she has any U.S. tattoo conventions or guest spots planned.
  21. I like the stares, and questions and comments, and just general tattoo conversation with other tattooed people or plainskins,I don't even really mind cost questions.I like the attention my tattooes get me.
