  1. if there is blowouts, relax, let it heal and don't worry about it now, there is nothing to do about any blowouts for now anyway. blowouts can happen to anybody, anywhere on the body, by any artist. in 3 months when it is fully healed, look at it again, enjoy it, and then start start planning your next even more amazing tattoo.
  2. I have both elbows and knees done too, and I really didn't think they were too bad, actually a lot easier than I expected, same with my hands and fingers, . my inner thighs are the killer spots for me, . but then as we all know, we are all different when it comes to tattoo pain.
  3. some testicles ? . . . . . . . . . LOL sorry,I couldn't resist.
  4. I would just like to add a thought about tattoo time and money. knowing I have done my research on the artist and have discussed the art with that person, I put my trust in them, since I already am there and I am good with the artist and art, I know their skills and style, and I am prepared for long time or short, I never ask how much time it will take or how much it's going to be,(that's just me) when they are done I ask how much then and pay for it and tip. simple enough, it works for me.
  5. Gingerninja and myself answered that already, it's too late now to worry about aftercare for that cross on your finger, nothing will help it,it's already mostly healed. the best advice is to go to a professional shop next time.
  6. you don't want to avoid peeling or pick at it, most tattoos will 'fall out" on the sides of fingers like that, especially scratcher garage tattoos like that. and like was said, peeling is a normal and good part of tattoo healing.Let it peel.
  7. well, even though it was tough on you,it sounds like you did the right thing and all is looking good for you and your family. here is to a great 2018 for all of us !
  8. when pigs fly LOL now keep in mind, these are mostly from the early 80's, and I had it touched up a little.
  9. LOL you make that sound funny,(in a good way) thanks for that, and merry christmas.
  10. that is a cool piece of art, hopefully it will transfer good, amd BTW,so you live in Ohio ? if so, you have an amazing artist near you,I just had one done by him at the SFO show.If you do live there, not sure how close you are. http://tattoofaction.com/section/391836-GREG-CHRISTIAN.html https://www.instagram.com/gregchristian4130/
  11. nice tattoo ! and I tried some H2Ocean products a while ago and wasn't too impressed with it. actually IMO most the gimmick products "made for tattoos" is pretty much just that, a bandwagon gimmick, good old fashioned Aquafor, Palmers cocoa butter, and Aveeno work just fine for me for a lot less $$$$.
  12. well, we all know water inherently has a lot of bacteria in it,(city/local water's acceptable levels) that's the only thing I think about, but if that works for you then great !
  13. you submerge a fresh tattoo ? aren't you worried about infection from the tub water ?
  14. so, without sounding too stupid, what the hell is this "Everence" ?
  15. I have had swelling on my hands, and a little on my bicep along with bruising on my thighs & biceps. take some OTC anti-inflammatory(Ibuprofen or naproxen (Aleve) ) and keep it elevated if you can , it will go away.
  16. I got a Friday the 13th (10/13) tattoo this year this year, that was also my birthday, and an oni on 10/22,but not one actually on Halloween. October is turning out to be "tattoo season" for me and my wife, we seem to get the most tattoos for the last few years in October.
  17. I don't care for tattoos that are hard to see what they are or what they say, or have to be looked at long and close to get it, and always get questions like "what does that say ? ".
  18. I have used saniderm on many tattoos, and I have found that waiting 24 hours before putting it on works best, and I have used it on both knees with great success. in that first 24 hours I just use saran loose and cocoa butter and washing hard with the palm of my hand every 3 or 4 hours with a good anti-microbial soap and then applying the saniderm to clean dry skin will last the 4 or 5 days I like without any liquid buildup under it at all, and it stays stuck perfectly.
  19. like was said, palms and fingers are really going to mostly blowout and you will be lucky if you will even see it in 6 months.
  20. sounds perfectly normal to me. so keep it clean now, keep it out of the sun,and either use use a very light coat of Aquafor a couple times a day or a daily moisturiser like Aveeno fragrance free. should be just fine.
