it's a cool looking tattoo,leave it alone.
-
IMO that tattoo would be all black in a couple years, and especially that small ! 7.5cmx12cm,that small would not work in the first place IMO.
-
Hi and welcome, IMO it's a cool looking little tattoo, the placement seems fine to me. sometimes simple is great !

no, too much aquafor or any lotion will not cause blowout. too heavy use of lotion/potion will slow the heal process but mostly will not affect the tattoo as far as the ink application. that does look like blowout on your foot IMO, BUT ! it can happen to anybody by any artist anywhere on the body, the blowout is not your fault. lastly, there is nothing you can do about blowout.so chill, relax, and start planning your next amazing tattoo.

I use saniderm all the time, and yes,all your photos look normal, looks fine to me, the wrinkles and flaky skin will all go away, just keep a light coat of Aveeno on it a few times a day. and your tattoo is pretty cool looking,I like it.

god dam ! are we a bunch of old fuckers here or what !?!?!?!? LOL well !?! you know what they say ? "old guys(& girls) rule " !
-
welcome, 29 !?!?!??!? LOL , I am 59 and still getting and planning tattoos.
-
it looks great ! nice tattoo, looks like maybe a tiny bit of blowout, DON'T LOOK AT IT WITH A MAGNIFYING GLASS ! otherwise it looks good and besides, there is nothing you can do about blowout anyway, so,relax, chill, take a breath, and start planning your next excellent tattoo.

Hi and welcome ! on this topic, from my experience I am not convinced that tattoo artists always know the best healing methods, IMO trial and error, knowledge of basic first aid,and a little common sense, is the best way to heal,we all heal different and our skin is very different. we know our own bodies better that any tattoo artist does. there is no good one answer to it. you know what they say ! "opinions are like assholes, everybody has one"
-
that's a super nice tattoo !
-
look at it from 18" away in a month,it will be fine.
-
STOP LOOKING AT IT WITH A F***ing MICROSCOPE !
-
so I go to Hawaii a lot,and love it, but this is me when on Island ! (notice t-shirt/sunblock/umbrella) LOL
-
it's really not going to damage the tattoo,(at least that has been my experience) it will mostly just be painful while in the sun, in a few more days you could use some lightly applied sunblock or just keep it covered up. best to just keep it out of the sun for the first week or so, and actually I use sunblock as an ongoing thing if I am going to be in the sun for prolonged times on all my exposed skin & tattoos no matter how old they are. the sun is not good for our skin just in general practice on tattooed or plain skin.

well, from what I have learned is that an "anti-microbial" soap cleans infectious germs better than the ordinary "anti-bacterial" soap we are all commonly used to.I have been using a basic one like this for years and on many many tattoos and I have yet to get an infection, now I'm not saying it will work or is needed for everybody, but it has worked well for me. https://www.walgreens.com/store/c/walgreens-antiseptic-skin-cleanser-4/ID=prod6329601-product?ext=gooKBM_PLA_-_Health_Care&pla&adtype=pla&kpid=sku6276171&sst=84f55c5a-36b2-452d-b9c2-91888e50bfd5 a tattoo is a fresh skin wound and it just makes sense to me to treat it like any other skin wound. "The primary difference between antibacterial and antimicrobial substances is the types of microorganism they act upon. While antibacterial products prevent the development of bacteria, antimicrobial agents such as alcohol-based hand sanitizers prevent the spread of bacteria, fungi, and some viruses. This is a much broader scope of protection than the protection found in antibacterial products." now the soap I use is not a "alcohol-based hand sanitizer " but you get the idea. https://www.microban.com/blog/antibacterial-vs-antimicrobial " Is there a difference between antibacterial and antimicrobial? The primary difference between antibacterial and antimicrobial substances is thetypes of microorganism they act upon. While antibacterial products prevent the development of bacteria, antimicrobial agents such as alcohol-based hand sanitizers prevent the spread of bacteria, fungi, and some viruses." this is just my opinion and preference. just sayin'

well listen, sponge baths and not washing it is your first mistake ! you NEED to wash it a few times a day with any OTC anti-microbial soap,FROM DAY ONE ! don't swim or soak in a bath, but you can take showers and wash it !~ !!! you HAVE to ! and I use to use Lubriderm until I found Aveeno,WAY better. make sure you don't overdue the lotion either.use a very light coat.
-
not ever had it here either.
-
pictures ? (tattoo and pottery)
-
welcome ! do you have any tattoos ?
-
done properly by the right artist, anywhere you put it will look good, LOL it's your body ! nobody should really recommend a location, that's silly IMO so ! 1)find a good dotwork artist 2)make the appointment 3)go to shop 4)get the tattoo
-
well you are very lucky, there is a lot of talent there, you are close to two of the best fine line blackwork small piece tattoo artists in the business IMO, checkout these 2, https://www.instagram.com/emscottla/ https://www.instagram.com/_dr_woo_/

LOL what city/state/country do you live in ? so I can maybe recommend an artist in your area. I'm not asking for your exact address LOL
-
where do you live ?
-
asking the same question about the same tattoo in a different thread will only give you the same answer ! your same question was already answered. the answer is STILL the same ! so,you didn't believe us in the other thread ?

In this thread, we commiserate about healing our fresh tattoos.
