  1. what do you have against flash ? IMO flash is great to see on the walls of a shop, flash makes it feel like a tattoo shop instead of some foo foo salon IMO, plus you I get a feel for what the artists there like to do. I especially love to see old flash.

    Scarred?

that will probably go away when it fully heals. relax.
  3. shit ! I wish I could sleep that good at my quiet home at night ! LOL
  4. IMO that looks infected, and like @oboogie and @Gingerninja said, go see a doctor ,TODAY !
  5. it shouldn't have a scab on it after 3 days under saniderm,it shouldn't have a scab at all on it after 3 days. sounds like something was done wrong, so yes, from this point ,keep it clean and put a very light application of something like Aquafor or Aveeno lotion.
  6. that all looks 100% normal to me,I have used saniderm many times.
  7. Hi,good job on the week off work after. that should be long enough to get past the critical stage, and NO on what they said about size,GO BIG OR GO HOME !!! and you might want to look into Saniderm.com for healing,I swear by it,there are a couple threads here about it too. prepare properly and you will have a better experience, *pre tattoo* 1) get a good nights sleep 2)don't drink alcohol before, pre hydrate a day before and during the tattoo(water or gatorade) 3)get a good healthy meal before the tattoo 4)bring water and healthy snacks and some shugary candy(M&M's,skittles, etc etc)maybe jerky and a banana too,for during(the sugar and potassium will help you feel better during) 5) keep it clean afterward with anti-microbial soap for the first 24 hours, then apply Saniderm for a week. 6) forget what those people are telling you about size ! LOL

    Hi

peeling after a week is perfectly normal, don't forget our skin varies a lot on different parts of our bodies,so healing will vary as well depending on where it's at on your body. relax, and like was said already, let it heal.
  9. 1) any descent artist could do that 2) a "walk in" does not mean "lower quality" by any means 3) the entire process to do that tiny tattoo would take 10 minutes and lastly,I would not recommend an all white tattoo,it will fade away to mostly nothing if it doesn't turn brownish

    Hi everyone

I had the same experience with a tattooer on Maui, and I liked it a lot too. I think it is the norm for them to use Square and email receipts also, which I like too.

    Milky blotches?

5 weeks is pretty fresh, have you tried a good moisturizer like Aveeno ? does is hurt to touch it ? otherwise it looks normal to me.
  13. it's all relative, if you like an artist and it's a good tattoo that YOU like, then it was worth the money. tattoo hourly rates vary from $100 to $700, I know a tattooer that says she needs $300 per hour with an 8 hour minimum,(UP FRONT),for anything ! I got a 9 hour one shot one time that cost me $3000., I was fine with that. I know people that have paid $5000 and up for an arm sleeve. those people that are saying that to you should keep their mouths shut.

    Hi everyone

I personally prefer going to different artists, unless you want to build on a themed sleeve, etc, etc yes there is a lot of good talent in so cal, it all depends on what style you are interested in getting,
  15. "Ohio mother charged after allegedly allowing 10-year-old to be tattooed by teen" "BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio - A mother is facing charges after she allegedly allowed a teen to give her 10-year-old son a tattoo inside a home in Bellefontaine, located in Logan County. Nikki J. Dickinson, 34, was charged with misdemeanor child endangering and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to ABC affiliate WSYX in Columbus. In a video that went viral on Facebook and sparked outrage online, a 10-year-old boy is seen getting a tattoo by another teen inside a home. Officers told WSYX that the mom said she got "tired" of her son asking, so she allowed him to get a tattoo. Dickinson endangered her son by allowing him to get a tattoo in unsafe, unsanitary conditions, according to court documents. The 16-year-old teen in the video gives tattoos at home, according to a witness. Investigators said it's believed the teen gave a tattoo to another individual that turned into a MRSA infection, WSYX reports. The 16-year-old teen was charged with two delinquency counts of tattooing prohibitions, according to WSYX." https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/ohio-mother-charged-after-allegedly-allowing-10-year-old-to-be-tattooed-by-teen?fbclid=IwAR22fZB8JO8KtB1_RYb33diVl4eYKMyh8XoIPe71d8cqDhqC0uqPMMhNJBw
  16. unless this is a joke, personally for me, a guy doing tattoos out of an RV would be a red flag. Especially for a first tattoo,I would do some more research of artists that you would like to get work from. I would look at established busy shops.
  17. I love Palmers cocoa butter, great stuff too. I use it on a fresh tattoo when I can't use Saniderm.
  18. yep ! as soon as you try it you will see how good it is.
  19. IMO Aveeno is hands down the best, I used to use and think Lubriderm was the best, but Aveeno blows it away for an everyday moisturizer,Aveeno lasts all day. Lubriderm lasts about 25 minutes. I use Aveeno "daily Fragrance Free". (green label)
