I went to Mayhem Fest yesterday! Rob Zombie and 5 finger where effing awesome. I'm sun burned and my legs and neck hurt but totally worth it! Friday night i discovered a theater *not studio movie grill* that has a bar in it, and plays classic movies. Say The Charleston Heston Planet of the Apes while having several drinks. The weekend after next their playing Full Metal Jacket. Can't wait!

There are hundreds of amazing artists out there that would benefit greatly through this idea of getting their art out there. But The clowns they get on this show are ridiculous. I laugh and cringe at this show. They scrapped by putting the machines together and where so surprised that the judges where upset. No matter what you do if you don't know your tools you don't belong there. One of the main things I remember from high School is the parts of the M14 and how to "tune" a flute. I might not handle either one of them any more but they taught me that if you don't know your tools you will fail every attempt to use it.

Its not "The Medical Encyclopedia" or anything but here's one website with different suicide facts. Suicide Statistics - Suicide Psychology :: Suicide Training, Education, and Prevention Services :: University of Memphis --"What are the most common methods of suicide? Firearms are the most commonly used method of suicide for men and women, accounting for 60 percent of all suicides. Nearly 80 percent of all firearm suicides are committed by white males. The second most common method for men is hanging; for women, the second most common method is self-poisoning including drug overdose. The presence of a firearm in the home has been found to be an independent, additional risk factor for suicide. Thus, when a family member or health care provider is faced with an individual at risk for suicide, they should make sure that firearms are removed from the home." - - - Updated - - - That was one of the things that he and other medical personnel we talked to hated, was that the internet is everyones "doctor" so "facts" and "diagnoses" where all crap that someone thought sounded right so feed it to everyone else. -

It's fine. I can look it up a credible source for you so its not like Wikipedia or anything. But I took an EMT class and our teacher a registered EMT told us all sorts of stuff that he'd seen, and things that where "common knowledge" that where bologna. - - - Updated - - - And I did say its not 100% of the time. Its more common with adults and older people. Like Moms struggling with hard core depression. They don't want to be seen by their family like that so they tend to do the less messy thing out of vanity. -
I was recently in contact with a Decepticon. It turns out they are not very happy with the movies that have come out. The one i spoke to said it was lies and slander. The Decepticons where a gentle and kind race and the Auto Bots became jealous of their abilities to turn in to cooler stuff and attacked in the dark of the night. Go figure. :)

I know I'm ganna get it for this but I like it. It is horrible, but its educational to people like me who know nothing about the actual act of tattooing. And the critiques have allowed be to see the bad parts of a tattoo I wouldn't have noticed before.

There was a movie I can't remember the name of it but it was about these people that where trying to get help but every one around them was going super fast and running away from them, it turns out they where zombies and where going super slow. It was HORRIBLE and I loved it!

When woman commit suicide they tend to cut their wrist or over dose so is to look good at the funeral. Most women are brought up to believe that certain things aren't "lady like", and since symmetry is the "science" of beauty it would make since that we are concerned with the symmetry of our work. And I say most bc no one group of people is 100% the same. There are always exceptions. -
According to them no. lol They said that it just kept getting worse. From what they where saying last night I'm sure I would love it if I ever got around to it.

I have the same thought process not only with tattoos but with clothes as well. I'll see something and think that's cool/cute/awesome but wont go near it with a 10 foot pole bc i don't think it would look the same on me as it does on others. I am constantly 2nd guessing tattoos that i want. -

This is one of my main problems with getting a lot of work done. Though its my body and I can do what i want with it, I still try and respect those around me like my grandparents that don't like tattoos. So the majority of the work that i want will be easily covered up in a normal work/church situation. And being a girl tattoos tend to send off different signals in certain places then they do with guys. So i tend to over think placement and image as well, which is why i have only 2 very! small ones for now that aren't easily seen. -
I wanted to but i had to work! and i dont have cable. But my friend was telling me all about it. I soooo want to see it. I heard they're making a 2nd one

Well thank you! - - - Updated - - - lol My friends where talking about it. I haven't gotten around to it but i plan on watching it for the cheeseball effect i expect it to have. i love a good cheesy horror movie.

The TV show Based on Under the Dome Is pretty good. I didn't get very far in the book unfortunately, i get easily side tracked into other books, but its was good and the show was pretty good too.

Hello! My Name is Bethany, I'm 22. I've lived in Irving, Tx like my whole live. I'm a single mom of a beautiful little ginger names Alice. I'm completely obsessed with Harry Potter and Bioshock!---I'm a Trekie.---LOVE horror and sci-fi. Freddy Kruger is the bomb! And love to read and love music. My favorite books include The Harry Potter series, 1984, Enders Game, The Uglies series, Animal Farm, The Count of Monte Cristo. My favorite music varies from Rob Zombie (playing at Mayhem this sunday!! woot!) to the Beatles and The Band Perry. I'm for some reason creepily interested in serial killers....and....Hitler....and the Occult and other wired dark things. Especially the plague....And other diseases and science. Like Eugenics. That shit's cool. I am not racist....or want to or have an urge to kill people but i think that people that do are interesting. I only have 2 tattoos right now. they're very simple. I'm wanting much much more but funds are tight and unlike other enthusiasts I'm not gonna live in my car so that i can have bad ass tattoos. Not that that's a problem. To each his own man! I want a phoenix on my back and an Alice in Wonderland sleeve type piece. Not really a sleeve but like across the shoulder to maybe top-mid top bicep. They will go with the 2 I already have. I want a Bioshock piece currently of the bunny mask with the Quote "I want to take the ears off!" Bc Sander Cohen is freaking boss! But when I'm done reading Rapture (the book that was written as a prequel to the video game) that might change my mind to something else. ummm if you want you can add me on facebook.......I just get on there to look at picture i don't really post stuff. My profile picture is the Star Trek equal rights symbol. Bc I love the gays! And its a running joke between me and my friends that i was a gay man in a past life.

Religious tattoos...on the non-religious
Beth replied to slayer9019's topic in General Tattoo Discussion
I'm ganna jump in this. I've had the same thought several times. I was raised a very devout Baptist and over the years I've back slid and aren't as "close to God" as i could be but after years of struggling with religious understanding, I came to believe that WHO/WHAT ever you believe in the good are rewarded with peace in the after life and the bad are not. Or nothing happens and in that case nothing we do matters any way. BUUUT to bring this back around away from my religious believes....ART is ART. Over the years sacred things become not so sacred. Its like that episode of South Park where Family Guy wants to show Mohammed and everyone freaks out. Everything is fair game or nothing is. And if getting Jesus or Buddha tattooed bc their pretty and represent peace and love and kindness then fine just don't act like it makes you better then everyone else......especially if you don't know anything about them but what everyone else does. - - - Updated - - - Symbols and iconic images that are used and taken from history are always going to be used with a good or bad type of stigma. Its like the swastika. Most people know or are aware that it is originally a peace symbol. But thanks to Hitler it was used for manipulation like all religion is used in the end. But if I get a swastika tattoo I'm going to be seen as a racist Nazi even if its the correct version of the peace symbol. and not the straight one the Germans used. -
.....the cirlcle with like an s....in it. google it its hard to explain.
