I actually wanna talk to him about doing something on me in the spring. I'm only a few hours from Richmond, so for the convention I figured I'd book with someone farther away. I think that dude is criminally underrated.

It's been years since I've been to Richmond. Anyone have any recommendations for food/drinks/coffee/cool shit?

One week til my appointment with @Scott Sylvia at the Richmond convention. I can't wait. Then I don't have anything booked til Grez in July. I've gotta set up something fun for tax return time.

I'm the opposite. My one arm is totally done in American traditional, but I'm pretty committed to doing the other arm in Japanese. My wife, however, has one arm done Japanese and is dead set to another Japanese arm only.

I'll very likely end up with a Simpsons tattoo before all is said and done. I have a few ideas kicking around.

Yeah, the roster seems to keep getting better. Details still need to be worked out, but I got an email from Scott Sylvia about getting something done. A buddy of mine is booked with Mario Desa for Saturday. May try and squeeze in a walk up as well. Just booked our hotel too!

@ironchef, But your cat is so awesome (judging by Instagram, haha)! My wife loves Rubendall's work, so I tried to her your back. She ended up distracted by cat pictures.

I saw that Black Dads thing a week or so and still get a laugh every time I think about it.

Hot Water Music - "Live your heart and never follow" in banners around a heart on my chest. Jawbreaker - "Yell it out before it kills you" on a rose inside my arm. I have other tattoos loosely inspired by Kid Dynamite and The Lawrence Arms, but they're not obvious lyrics or logos or anything. I am trying to book with Civ for a small "Start today" tattoo at the Richmond Convention, as well. I also have a straight edge tattoo, and a plan to get at least one more before I'm no longer XXX years old.

@RScott, Marty's stuff is so good. He did my wife's 3/4 sleeve, and she keeps saying she's going back for her other arm soon. I keep trying to get her to call so I can live vicariously through it. I'd love to have Marty do something.
