FTW is such a rad shop, is this gonna be your first visit there? Last time I was there, the whole shop broke out in an R&B song during the middle of my tattoo and it was just hilarious. There are some amazing characters at FTW. Who is your appointment with?

My buddy Mark is in a band called Insolence who makes it to Japan regularly to perform, they are famous out there. He was walking by a vending machine and got me a bobble head...of himself. It was pretty amazing. You can literally find anything in a Japanese vending machine. Crabs, Video Games, hell, I bet you can find a tattoo machine in one. It's ridiculous.

I've gotten a wolf tattoo done because my artist wanted to do a piece and I happened to drop him off a burrito that day, just cause I'm a nice guy. I got a pizza tattoo from @cltattooing that was very spontaneous. Actually, now that I think of it, I've only planned four of my 16 tattoos.

I lost twenty pounds in December and continue to lose weight. Wake up and walk to the beach in Santa Cruz every morning. I moved to Santa Cruz Dec 1 after living in Oakland and San Jose my entire life and am loving it here.

I've actually had drunks try to grab my arms from over the bar to check out my tattoos, while I am serving drinks...This has been both women and men and it pisses me off, because I swear, it's like being drunk gives you the sense of entitlement to touch and pull at things that aren't yours. My bar is right next to a tattoo shop, too, so the culture is pretty standard here in Seabright Santa Cruz. I've seen drunk guys comment on girls tattoos and then proceed to bury themselves in the process by backhanding complementing the tattoo.

I want a realistic raven chowing down on some carrion. Think I know the artist I want and my friend already has her booked this month, so I might hijack some time. :)

I am so calm and relaxed during tattooing sessions, but getting the spot right below my knee tattooed really burned. I watched my best friend get very teary eyed from the back of his knee being tattooed. I had to help him walk out of the shop, because the back of your knees have a lot of sensitive muscles and his leg was just wrecked from 4+ hours of work.

She is a bad ass babe, man. I have gotten two of her flash designs and love them both. The last one, the girl, was just so amazing. Personality and art wise, I really love my tattoo experiences with Carolyn.

If you used good soap and dried it, I think you'll be OK. If you're really worried, wash the tattoo again. That brown in the water was just metal/setiment that settled. It's likely not going to screw anything up if you used soap.

I like that you had a flash sheet with two amazing tattoos that I wanted, but you wanting to do her made it an easy choice. Love her, a TON. Fun tattoos yesterday, sorry if I was being a bit rude.

Just got this at Clubhouse Tattoo in Oakland from the very cool Carolyn. (CLTattooing on here) A good friend of mine also got an amazing skull and rose tattoo, hopefully Carolyn posts pics soon!

You should tattoo Trogdor the Burninator on me some time if I am down to make a goofy decision.
