    Whether you like it or not, everything is reviewed on Yelp now. I can definitely see where it is helpful, for example, restaurants, hair and nail salons, aestheticians, etc. I previously worked at Cartelligent which is a new car buying service. Quite a few clients wrote great reviews about me, enough where people were calling me directly because "Yelp referred them" to me. People apparently think that Yelp talks to them but that is not the point here. Yelp will filter reviews if it comes from someone that doesn't write many reviews. You can still view these but you have to choose to unfilter reviews. Although it does filter good reviews, it also filters the bad which are often written by competitors using a fake profile. As someone who worked in the service industry, I definitely saw the benefits of Yelp and was able to profit from it. I also saw how many people live and die by it. Bottom line is even if you don't like it, it's not going away anytime soon and you might as well try to get business from it.

    I think you're on to something. I'm in for next season. My friend and I also wanted to start a betting pool for during Maury Povich's DNA testing episodes...is he the father or not? But that only works if you're all watching together...

    I thought I was the only one who felt this way... NOVEMBER 17--Like most Americans, Steven Cowan has been perplexed by Bristol Palin’s curious ability to keep advancing in TV’s "Dancing with the Stars" competition. However, unlike other viewers, Cowan, 67, allegedly became so enraged by Palin’s success that he actually fired a shotgun round into his television, triggering a 15-hour standoff with Wisconsin cops. According to a criminal complaint, Cowan’s wife called police Monday evening to report that her husband had blasted the TV and was threatening to kill himself. Cowan, who had been drinking, became angry while watching Palin, 20, perform on the ABC program. As Palin, pictured at left, was dancing, Cowan “jumped up and swore, saying something to the effect of, ‘The fucking politics.’ Steven was upset that a political figure’s daughter was dancing on this particular show when Steven did not think that she was a good dancer,” the complaint notes. Cowan is pictured in the above mug shot. Janice Cowan told Dane County Sheriff's Office deputies that she called 911 after her husband blasted the TV and then pointed the shotgun at her. She added that Cowan warned her that he would kill himself if she brought anyone back to their home in the town of Vermont. After a lengthy standoff with cops, Cowan surrendered yesterday at 11 AM. He is facing disorderly conduct and weapons charges. He was sitting in the Dane County jail last night when Palin landed a spot in the “Dancing with the Stars” finals. However, a sheriff’s spokesperson told TSG that Cowan “currently does not have access to television.” (3 pages)

    My friends did the challenge at the Broken Yolk in San Diego. They are twins so half way thru they switched places. That is the tamest of how they have used being a twin to their advantage.

    I LOVE Arrested Development. Have Season 1 on DVD. Tobias is the best. My gay work nubby and I were at a bar once and saw a Gob lookalike. We called him Gob the entire night. Not sure if he got it or was too drunk to notice. It's kinda hard to pick a fave character on that show. And if you love David Cross, you should definitely read his book, I Drink for a Reason. If you read it in a public place, be prepared for the weird looks you'll receive as you laugh loudly to yourself.

    The disability episode is one of the other 3 I was thinking of! I am imagining him slowly trying to get away from the gang of old people. Frogged episode is such a classic. Thank god this show is on KTVU, TBS and random other channels thru out the day.

    Which girl was on Rock of Love? Now that's quality TV! How about finding a single tattoo artist and having girls compete for him like on Rock of Love??? I know I would watch.
