Just came across this interview with Rico which I thought was pretty cool. He's a great artist who specialises in traditional Japanese tattooing. Check out his and his wife Shion's work here DARUMA GOYA TATTOO, Japan
I'm hopefully starting my Japanese back piece fairly soon and I'm kind of nervous about the pain involved. Especially the outlining, I REALLY hate outlining. I'm hoping that once that's done the shading will be a little easier.. I hope!
I frickin love this back piece by Diego Azaldegui. Hoping to get something similar myself soon.

Beautiful Kannon back piece by Horiyoshi III
Hi, I've been a tattoo enthusiast for a few years now and I've thoroughly enjoyed watching the artist interviews on this site so thought I'd finally sign up to the forum. I'm a big fan of Japanese tattooing and have 2 three quarter sleeves done by Diego Azaldegui in Leeds UK.
I'm currently deciding on what I want for my back piece and hoping to get started on that soon.
