  1. I think research goes along way! Meeting them in person (consultation) . I've been lucky with all my artist because I've got some really nice tattoos. All these tattooers know each other and love to see great tattoos. You have to look at it like everyone has days where they aren't feeling 100 percent friendly and just want to give you a tattoo. That's what matters at the end. Unless they are completely arrogant and an ass that is another story. Being that you're in China you have to understand the cultural thing. One of my saying is "if you don't like it don't eat it'
  2. What are you 10 years old? hahaha!! Seriously I feel it's the choice of the individual but what is the point? Just buy some glow in the dark markers and call it a day!!
  3. from experience I would have some laser sessions done then start fresh with a new tattoo.. The only reason I say that is that tattoo is kinda big and what would you cover that up with? Making it better? I guess it's possible to redo it but you will be limited in the new design.. First thing is find amazing tattooer and speak to him/her about it. NYC isn't too far from VA. Also what direction are you going? Traditional?
  4. Yeah he can tattoo anything well!! It's hard to make panthers look unique but I think he did an amazing job with it!!
  5. Head Shot of my Panther by Chris Garver , Invisible NYC. Adding Roses next session!
  6. Panther - Chris Garver , Invisible NYC
  7. was just my advice... just when you are walking it looks backwards. like I said it's your tattoo and as long as youre happy..
  8. facing you?? that is a big no no!!!!!!!!!!!!! try drawing it on your wrist first. Unless you walk with you hands in the air. If youre not gonna listen.. whatever it's your tattoo... the bible says b.s is so stupid. "christians" I see them doing much worse things!! puhahah
  9. i disagree .. the responsibility of aftercare goes solely on the client!! If you are unsure about aftercare then ask..... Maybe being your first tattoo then i guess he should explain these things but not necessarily..
  10. just chill!! I agree clean a couple times and little product. What you see is plasma mixed with ink that cannot be cleaned of completely from the skin when getting tattooed. You will be fine as long as you don't take a bath. Showers are ok!!!!!!
  11. Oh crap!! Games over!! Hennings tattoos are so amazing!!
  12. okay sorry.. maybe i'll have something new in a couple of months.. - - - Updated - - - Okay here is one of my older tattoos. Not finished.. By Phil Szlosek at Kingsave NYC

  14. anyone been watching this new show bad ink?? worst show ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Thanks for the info i have super sensitive skin and was worried that it would be there forever like a scar. It's been three weeks for me and hasn't gone away completely.. Then again the ribs have always been a slower healing area for me. My other side healed completely in 2 months ..
  16. Were you told to remove your bandage after 3 days? When I removed mine you see the boarders of the bandage. Almost looks like a tan line. It's been three weeks and it's a lot lighter but still you can see it. I was just curious if this is just my experience with this style of bandage..
  17. Congrats! I really thought I had a chance this month! OH well..
  18. I see that you have tattooed at kingsave in the past! When are you coming back? Would be awesome to get a tattoo from you!
  19. No that's not normal!! I've never heard of an artist charging for a touch up! Unless its more than a year or so even then I wouldnt see any of the artist that did my work charge for it!!
  20. sorry to hear that !! IN MY OPINION !!!!!!!! I would save some serious money and travel to NYC OR CALI. Or wait for a convention and get some quality work from artist that are in high demand. It's only going to be on your body forever so another few years or months isn't that big of a deal. Shaky lines?? Not always true but when choosing an artist if they have a waiting list then there is a good chance they are good! Would you ever think about traveling to NY for a tattoo?
